Authorization to submit n pick up passport

Hi all,
Anyone can say if.....it always take 10 days to process an application in NYC office. I have authorisation to submite an uplife my brother application . I got an email  replay which states-- "Applications submitted in person may take one to ten working days to process, depending on the circumstances of the individual application. Applications are accepted from 8:00-10:30 am, Monday-Friday.  No appointment is necessary."

Note is said MAY take so i am just wonder if anyone was able to uplift in less than 10 days....I asking since i only be in US for 9 working says

I am from Guyana, South America-----oops i forget to mention i will renew my visa as well.....my country is not on long waiting list...my friends an co-worker all get back passport the next business day...but no one conduct business for someone else. but the email i got said....Agents submitting application will be treated as MAIL in  application which can take 10 days.

I'm afraid to say that you will be able to uplift in less than ten days. Good luck.

you are "afraid to say" that's when u making a negative statement.....YET you said.." i can be able to pick up in less than 10 day"
 i know i can get collect mine the following day..but what about my brother's who is authorising me to conduct his business...well i get his in less than 10 working days ?
