Anybody knows how long take ARC for processing my visa office is Mexico but I am confused because people says it takes from 9 to 12 months that is truth???

Lets hope not because we require one as well ! Interested to see if anyone else repsonds, I find the whole ARC issue to be very confusing, I have been told it will automatically be issued through the sponsorship process but i have also heard its up to us to obtain it, we are also using Mexico city VO
