Hi CIC,

Regarding PCC, I'd one (National Police check) last year. Well, although PCC with fingerprints is what Sydney visa office recommends, I guess you might not be able to have it done from your home country; Nonetheless, there is an option which allows you to have a PCC with just the name check, which I think would be your best bet under the circumstances. As for payment, you've to ask either someone here in Australia to do this for you, or check with some exchange company there to see if they can get you a check denominated in Aussie. I'm not sure if banks deal in Aussie dollar.

Cheers,

You can apply for AFP without any fingerprints and the fees for the individual is AUD $43.00.you can also make the international money order or the cheque which can be easily made at the main branches of the bank which deals with the foreign exchange.
you can check on the australian federal police website and get the useful information.

thanks

Except the you have to do the fingerprint check for CIC and you need the Driver's license extract as well for Australia.
