thanks crisetphil...baka nagmeet na tayo sa ibang forum..shekou rin kasi ginagamit ko username eh, nov. 7 pala naDM si hubby nagkamali me ng lagay kanina.
sana nga mabilis lang yung visa natin tagal ko kasi naghintay dun sa police clearance from japan embassy, almost 1 & half months...God is Good kasi okey na ngayon. Happy Waiting

Congrats for getting your visa! Sana maging kasing bilis lang din ng sayo ang processing ng sa amin. Bilang may visa ka na, may questions sana ako, if you don't mind:

1. NBI Clearance - ok lang ba na maiden name ko ang naka-reflect since pareho lang naman dapat ng name ko sa passport? Or do I need to get another one after we get married para mailagay ko yung surname ng husband ko?

2. pictures/ proof of relationship - how did you show/ arrange your pictures? Ok lang ba na yung mga trips and visit namin to each other naka-print lang sila sa bond paper or dapat ba naka-print individually and then pasted sa  bond paper? The wedding pics, I would assume need to be printed individually.

3. Interview - were you interviewed? If yes, what were the questions asked?

Pasensiya ha, ang daming questions. Btw, I have a friend na binibilhan ko ng ticket to Canada. Sa kanya ako nagpapa-book everytime I go there. if you want, we can chat offline and I can connect you with him.

I just wanna share my experience as an applicant I'm an August batch and our processing of papers (me&my hubby) took 5 1/2 months in total. My visa was issued dated 01/23/2012 but then I received it 01/27/2012. So shempre, excitement was there that's why my hubby urgently booked me. I was about to attend PDOS supposedly 1st week of Feb when I found out that my passport number and my passport number written in my visa and copr exceeded one digit. I urgently went to embassy to had the corrections.One of their staffs told me that it'll only take a week to get my visa and copr back. Then after a week I waited for nothing so I decide to email them and fax them. Actually same content lang un sa dalawa kinulit kulit ko lang sila sabi ko urgently needed ko since tapos naman na ako sa processing and DM na ko last 01/23 pa and besides they promised me only a week for the corrections. after two weeks, wala pa rin eh di sumulat ako sa kanila and sent it thru LBC siguro sobrang nakulitan na, nag-email na sila sakin  then here comes 3rd week, ayun, received ko na ulet visa ko.. thanks God! 2 ang visa sa passport ko katuwa lang tingnan! and, yung copr pala, 2 copies na lang (cic&client copy). last january kase 3 copies yun.

so sa lahat ng nakakareceive ng visa, i-check nyo po mabuti passport details, visa & copr nyo para di kayo matulad sakin kase time is gold dba? sa lahat ng application received at in process ang status, keep yourself busy para iwas depression mode
don't worry too much, lahat po tayo darating sa finish line, ang DM status

hi, Decision made na din po aq last feb 19 pa..kaso wala pa po aq narereceive na visa..DHL po ba nagdeliver sa inio? or pinick up mo? tsaka wat province po ninyo? maybe kaya medyo matgal delivery nong sa akin dahil sa province pa po aq..

yep, DHL. magbabayad ka lang ng 95php. dito ko sa manila dunno sa province if how much ang rate. DM ang status ko sa ecas 01/26 pa. kinabukasan nun na received ko na. if province, 1-2 weeks ata. pero yung ka-batch ko sa cdo pa sha dm sha ng 26, received din nya 27 agad.

nasa canada ka na? wen did u get ur ticket? stressful pala tong mghanap ng ticket noh?

di pa sis. karereceived ko lang ulit visa ko. may correction kase yung unang inissue sakin. january pa ko may ticket. si hubby nag booked sakin kase uwi din sha dito pinas, sundo nya ko. cathay pacific sha nagpabooked eh. korek ka jan, stressful nga daw maghanap at magpa book na rin.
