I have a question..

May be who already approved for the sponsorship know the answer to it.


What does "medical results received" exactly mean ?

I got this update on the same day when my sponsorship got approved .

Does it mean that file is at  VO  or it is just a regular update ?

Appreciate your suggestions

Ok, thank you. I'm just confused because on the sponsor approval letter I got it says to contact CIC with email/address changes etc, so I'm like.. which is it?!

It is too early for August applicants to get PPR yet as the CPC started working on Aug applications recently.

Mine was approved on Oct 20...I expect my VO to send PPR to my wife within next 3-4 weeks as per the trend of that VO. But it really depends and varies case by case.

Medical Results Received means that your file is at the VO and is in process.  Unless there is a problem with your file or an interview is needed they will send you your PPR by email in due time.

If I am not mistaken read the letter or email again as to where it is from.  We received a ppr and it also asked us to confirm the information.  It is possible that they just wish to confirm your address and email.  They may have even attempted to send email and it did not go through.  I would not worry to much but do as the letter request and send them the email and address.

Just read the letter a second time to make sure of the request.  I know that with the stress of waiting and anxiety we can make mistakes as to what is really being asked.  Again do not worry about it.  It is probably just confirmation

yes I thought so. But I was confused because it was updated on the same day when my sponsorship got approved. and when I called up CIC, the lady informed me that the file will be transferred to VO soon.  Shocked Shocked

If sponsorship has been approved then send the information to the VO.  make sure your file number is on it.  And just to be on the safe send the info also to CIC-M also

I have not received any file number. It is just that I got the "application received"  and "medical result received" update on website.

I will try it right now...is teh file number the one which starts with F00000??
