We were just wondering if anyone knows how long it takes to issue the visa once PP has been requested? My husband sent his PP on Thursday morning and he is landing on the 28th, should we be worried? We are hoping it will only take until Wednesday, Thursday at the latest. What happens if he doesn't get it by Friday, then what is the next possible action to take after this?
Any info is greatly appreciated!! Thanks again to all who has been a great support to us, and God Bless us all!!!

Hi. I think it depends on what country you are, the VO who is incharge and the completion of your documents. In my case I am from philippines and it only took 10 days for the embassy to finalized my Visa after submitting my PP. Now I am waiting for it since I got my decision made last jan. 20. Hopefuly you will also get yours soon. Good luck and God bless.. |

@ Channel Thanks for your response. My husband had his interview on Wednesday ( Jan 18 ) and he was asked by them to send it right away Thursday morning. So we are anticipating it will be here soon, in the next day or two. It is just my husband is planning to arrive to Canada on Saturday , all arrangements have been done for his arrival home. His V.O. is in Turkey. We know they work fairly quickly but we are just so anxious now that this process is almost over.  Just worried, what happens if it does not get here before his medical expiry date? |

I have read so many threads once the VO noticed that the medical is almost on its expiration, majority of those cases were finalized before the said expiration date ends. just keep your fingers crossed and pray for the positive out come. Well my husbands PP will be in his hands tomorrow He will be arriving on Saturday!!! I am so happy, so much to do. Essex could you please update the spreadsheet for us!! Thanks a million to all who have supported us and have been so kind  We wish everyone the best of luck in their new lives and we will keep those in our prayers who are still waiting!!! |

My husband's visa was issued January 23rd..yayyyy!!! Only 3 more days until he comes home. I am so happy. Best wishes to all and God bless!!! |

Hello Fellow Augustians!!
I am not sure if I was able to inform you guys but I checked our ecas last Sunday (Jan 22) and it said "Decision Made"!!
Yahooo!! Just awaiting my husband's passport with a visa!
Is someone updating the spreadsheet??

Congrats guys how are moving forward  I have been trying to update the sheet best i can but for some reason my computer has started to play up when i go on it. So i went on my friends computer and changed the settings so everyone can update. Can someone have a go and see if it works Thanks. |
