'If you are a permanent resident or a naturalized Canadian citizen .....'

So if we're a citizen by descent, is that an 'n/a' there?

I would think the office should be Islamabad.

Essex, so sorry to hear about your daughter..try getting her to drink boiled barley, i hear it helps cleanse the kidneys...

On a happier note, the applications were mailed today!!! We decided to go over it again over the weekend. Yipee....so relieved, has been a nerve wrecking period, so happy to get it over and done with..no more arguing with hubby on correct way to compile from miles away, what to include and what is too much detail...it even got to the point of him showing his building's smoke shop owner the pictures we are sending in to get 3rd party view if the relationship is genuine. He told hubby that if you were faking it, it sure had cost u a bomb for all the props on ceremonies and festivities and trips taken in different countries LOL

So 52 days and counting!! Will update when we received the acknowledgement of receipt from postal tracking...so so happy, so so very happy today...no matter what happens, I am happy we got through this part.

 I am grateful for this forum as well, a support group that keeps me sane. None of my family and friends understand the anxiety caused by this aplication. thank you all...here's wishing everyone will receive speedier approval! Summer's over CIC, now get back to work and approves em applications
