Getting the good news of my wife's applicaation in in Syria Damascus is good but now how do I know if there working on it?? like right now or are they going to wait till jan and also it says 13 months that number makes me so depressed and anger what should I do any advice I'm hoping she comes fast

My husband got his passport request in email today !!!!  We are soooo, sooo happy !!!  Are VO is in Vienna and their average processing time is 7 months. They started processing our application on November 8.2011 and after 22 days we are approved. That is really, really fast and we are so lucky, because I know some people waited 6 months, year and some of them even a few years, because of the war and everything.... By the way my husbands address disappeared on November 24, and after 7 days he has a PPR  Thank you all for kind words, advices, support and shared informations ! I know we aren't quite there but I have my medical on Tuesday then my file will be complete. Fingers croessed will be sending on August 3rd. Just wondering if there are any other people ready to send off in August. Im gonna get the spread sheet started with names and VOs then we can add the date as we go Hope theres lots of people to join me:) hi essex0227, this is a great site just found it a few days ago... my husband send the application on 22nd august 2011 my husband recieved the approval letter on 8th november 2011 so im just on the waiting game... can you please put me on the spreadsheet. thank you |

Hi jayjay when did you get the AOR? My sponsor being approved on oct24 and transfered at the same day but I never received any AOR from the VO It's December 2 now and I am with buffalo too. |

Veronica.law you should put your info on the spreadsheet so I can lookup it up since we are so close in dates and same VO. I got sponsorship approval on Oct 28 so a couple of days after you. Although my VO is New Delhi, our timelines are very close to each other.
I had applied on 8/22 and got approval and file forwarded on 10/28. A couple of days after that, my address in canada appeared on ecas but his info, when inputed, (the "F" code), does not yield anything yet so I'm assuming it's not being processed yet. No AOR or PPR yet, so I guess every case and VO varies.
