My wife's ( principle applicant) address disappeared from Ecas. What I concluded from different posts here, sometimes it is a positive sign and you will hear something from the VO soon !! I hope its true !!  |

Sma.de, am trying to search for where i've read it so i can give you the exact link. Some peeps get the request for the new forms when they were ask to do re-medicals or during passport request so am assuming they wud not send you thw whole package back but youwill still have to provide them with the new forms somewhere along the timeline.

I saw your post. You are asked to send new undertaking and questionnaire.
Did you include "old" undertaking and questionnaire with your initial application?
If you used the old forms, I assume you submitted the old IMM0008, did they ask for the new IMM0008? It's wired as I saw people who used the old forms after july 18 and are issued visa already.
If I use the old forms, how long would it take for me to hear from them if they need to send my package back? I am thinking to apply inland.
Again Ryffa_Q, when you see other posts about the new form, did those people only get a request letter (their package is still kept by CIC) or their whole package is returned?
@ SMA.DE Yes I had to fill in the new undertaking and the questionnaire, I also added the the original along with the new ones. I did submit the IMM0008 but they did not ask for me to fill out a new form. I guess that one was ok. All I know is that the whole package got sent back to us as "incomplete" and had to correct those forms and then sent it back to them the very next day. It should be there today and I really hope we hear some good news..we have waited far too long for this stage to be over and look forward to the next phase of this process..Good luck to you!!! |

I know we no longer worry about the sponsor approval time update anymore but i am suprised that its already friday and they havent update it yet....they must be super busy....hopefully on processing the applications...

*hops over from September again* Yes that puzzles me too. However I did notice that while the first few September approvals were a little over the 70 days (processing time last week), the more recent approvals have all been well under 70 and evewn 68 days. Perhaps they are speeding up significantly, making it hard to pin a number on it at the moment? I do hope they update the timeline before the weekend though. While I wait for sponsorship approval, I am keeping an eye on this topic. For sure, the fastest VO's will start sending passport requests soon? |

hey guys.. figured I might as well post this here too.. see what everybody thinks  So I got sponsor approval October 12.. didn't show that my file was at the VO on ecas but I figured I should be patient. I called CIC the other day to ask who I should inform about my change of address and they did inform me that my file had been sent to the VO and that I should contact them. I contact the VO to give my new address and turns out my file isn't there yet. It's been 5 weeks.... I know for most people it took a week IF that for the file to reach VO. I have no idea what to do.. any suggestions would be appreciated |

My ECAS shows medical received but no IN PROCESS so not sure if the file is already there or not. but I have applied for TRV yesterday, so hopefully when they give me a decision on that next week they can confirm with me if the file has arrived or not.

Is happened with me too. my address is also disappeared from my Ecas. I Don't know, What Does it mean?
From reading this forum over the last few months, it seems that address disappearing, (and often re-appearing) is an unrelated glitch. Some people do receive PPR at about the time such a change in Ecas occurs, many others see no reaction. I have been told more than once by the call center that the Ecas must be updated based in information from Visa Office overseas, and that this is just not done regularly. |

I wouldn't worry. The medical is sent seperately by your doctor, so they have to look it up and add it to your file. Might take a while. Sponsorship timeline update came in: Down to 67 days, officially working on applications received Nov 8. |
