Just a quick couple of questions. Firstly, we got confirmation from the postal tracking that the application had reached its destination. Is it at this point that the e-cas should say application received or does is it supposed to say that once they actually starting looking at it. Am a bit worried and confused. We sent the app Aug22 and was confirmed it reached its destination the 26th. I know our time is coming soon. Just wondering if I've mucked up or something!
Also, has anyone out their applied for their kids Canadian citizenship? If so, how long did they take to come back? London forwarded them on a week after the application was received and I know quite a few people got them back quite quickly.

Hey guys,
I'd like to know what happens if you mail a paper to the CPC at a wrong adress?
My husband should send them a paper but hes never received the letter the agent said they sent us since sept6th.so,what if he mails the paper back to them to mississauga but that's not where it had to go?thx.

I was wondering what Quebec (MICC) check once you submit application since Federal Govnt. does all the paper work? What are the chances of them(MICC) denying your application?

Guys, did I get this right? THey already approved some of the 22nd Aug applications? MIne is also 22nd Aug, could it be that they send a letter instead of email? I provided both addresses.

We got our approval letter in the mail today. File has been transferred to New Delhi on October 31! Stage 2, is officially here for us!!

Congrats. At least you got a letter. Mine was approved Oct 17th and no letter. I am hoping the file was transferred to Ankara but no idea what has happened since then.

Hi everybody, I received the letter from Mississiauga today! Yes, I have been found elligible to sponsor my husband, I´m so happy stage 1 is done. The letter is dated Oct 28, does it mean file transfer to VO was that same day?

It means it is transferred but it'll take about 7-10 days to arrive depending on the office. If you get an email, you won't get a mailed copy, if you get a mailed copy you won't get an email  Just like everyone suggests, make sure you check your junk email box! |

yes, mrbeam, it says in the letter that they won´t send me an email, I don´t mind, I´m just happy no document was missing and that they received my application!

I believe they mention it on that letter. Could CIC agents let us know on phone the application number ? |
