this sucks so much waiting for someone you love its been like 5 months already and nothing has happend i sent my application aug 2 they got it aug 4th they started processing it oct 14 it said and a few days later they sent the whole package back to me missing the 0008 paper fixed it all up sent it back last friday they got it and i cant take this patient game and when i looked on line with my id client # this was before they sent the package back to me it said med recieved and so what else? like are the papers in syria i still havint got an approval nothing i wish i could pay the guy extra money to make it go faster they should have something like that.. anwys how long before i hear an apporval or whats going on with my application im so depressed right now im losing it

Hey ayad,
Did you fill out the new generic app forms and u missed the 0008? Because I used the old form so there wasn't a 0008 paper.its ok using the old form so I guess its ok not to send the 0008 if u using the old app form? Pray hard ayad.

i know what u mean i cant stop thinking about when ill see my wife and going crazy does anyone know if i call immagrtion that i can tlak to the person that is doing my application and how does it go does mississagua do all the stuff or i dont know how it goes like does the whole file go to syria or what

Hello all,

Is it normal to never get the sponsor's approval letter in the mail or via email? They said they mailed it on October 17th but still nothing has arrived at my house. The mail system cannot be THAT bad! Can it?

I also provided my email but nothing there either (and not in my husband's email either). If I had not called and spoken to someone, I never would have know I had been approved as a sponsor. Do I need this letter or should I just take the over the phone confirmation as 100%? It still only says decision made online with no further details.

Also, anyone have any idea when the VO office starts working on the application? A month later, perhaps?

yes if your told that you are approved then take it as gospel.  I am still waiting for my approval letter send Oct 4th and my wife already has her COPR and visa and we are ready to leave.  Go figure

Hubby is approved!!!! He called today and they told him he was approved, they screwed up his email, so they said they will resent within 48hours. I will update when we get the actual email. And to think last nite i was telling him to start packing and just came live here instead coz i saw everyone was bypassing our apps  god day indeed! I have a job interview in an hour's time to an outfit that has branch in canada, I can tell them i am half a pr now hahahahahaha perfect timing
