Thanks peeps...now we know why internet moguls makes so much money  especially FACEBOOK creator...keeps me grounded knowing everyone going through the same thing, I guess patience is not one of my virtues We do the same as in, wake up calls (apparent from phone bills as exact 2minutes call every day around same time) or lunchtime (late dinner for him), BBMs or Watsapp and skype on weekends and whenever possible, thank god for ipads (mobility is key), but it's frustrating in the sense that : 1. when u have something to share i.e. good news bad news, u actually have to wait till he's awake 2. when u just need a hug on a bad day and you only have your neighbor's cat 3. when u have a fight and cant kiss and make up small things but important to me in a relationship...dumb i know...smacking myself for starting a relationship with someone who lives thousand miles away in the first place :p whoever thought of absence makes the heart fonder must have only been absent for a day... good luck awor! I hope you submit it in time for August! |

Just catching up here. Essex, glad to hear your daughter is doing better!
Well, my wife is going for her medical today...in 20 mins in fact!
Then, she will Fedex me everything...I hope I get it soon enough to make the August thread.
This 1st stage approval time is a real *censored word*...terrible that its taking longer and longer. I wouldnt put it past the conservatives that this is mandated!! Once I submit I will actually call my MP (conservative) if he can get an explanation why the 1st stage approval is taking longer and longer!
And yes, I also miss my wife terribly...try no to think about it. It is hard when showing the wedding pics to everyone! We talk a LOT everyday, thank god. And I am lucky that she is only one-hour ahead of me. We use an unlimited phone service that I have to call...and often we use MSN with Video...which is great, but still not enough! I do miss falling asleep together, waking together! Her smell! Thank god I have her favorite bottle of perfume to remind me once in awhile! I know this will take a little while, I will go back to see her. And I also have many projects to get the house in order!

i read somewhere that if your spouse is already a PR, they would have had a UCI and that can be used to track whatever progress of any applications in CIC. Is that true? Can we use his UCI to log on E-CAS to see the sponsor stage progress or at least an acknowlegement of receipt? He has been a PR for over 10 years though, do they keep records that long?

As long as you have ticked off everything that they ask for on the checklists you should be fine. Make sure you have crossed all your T's and dotted your I's and signed and dated everything and you are ready to go let me know tomorrow when you have posted it |

they haven't even finished processing June applicants  gonna be spending first anniversary alone....and maybe second at this rate.... I'm not good at LDR, especially when the time difference means he's awake when i'm asleep and vice versa...any tips? well, i have little amount of sleep as I wait for him at night and not much work done in my morning coz thats his vacant. So lots of sacrifice to do.. But happy to do it.. |

Update: they only did an interview and some basic tests, today she has to go for blood test, urine and all the rest, then back to DMP to get his form. I hope we will get this form today! I AM SO ITCHING TO SEND THE APPLICATION! Because the sooner it is sent, the sooner she will be with me! |
