Does anyone know if the ECAS will be updated with our approval "decision made" or will it remain the same as " in process" ? They sent us our approval letter today but just wondering because today is Tuesday and they usually update the system on "Tuesday's" will it change or anyone else seeing no changes on their information either? Thanks!!!

Usually it changes to "decision made" after approval.  This update is not their weekly update,  you get it as soon as you are approved. Mine never went to " in process" .. I could not even log in to Ecas until the day I saw "decision made" and I was approved the same day.

But again Ecas is not reliable source to believe on it. So it wouldn't be surprising even if you or your spouse do not see any update on Ecas even after he gets visa.

Thanks, it is just after hearing that the Sponsorship was approved that we just actually wanted to see it to believe it..lol I don't know when it was approved, all they said to me that a letter was sent out to me today for the approval, but haven't seen anything change on Ecas I know they are not reliable..hehe  . But we just waited 92 days to hear this news and wanted some confirmation that it was indeed true..you can never really trust or rely on what the agents tell you either..but thanks again kuku, it helps to put my mind at ease just a little more

eCAS finally updated hahahaha so funny reading it when they email me the letter on 24th to say it has been finalized and to collect my passport. 1 day after processing?  i love my vo!!!!!  now hopefully my friend will pick it up tommorow.....i can't wait!!!! *drafting resignation letter as i type*

OMG that is horrible news, I feel so bad for you guys after reading your post   I was wondering, how did you send it? Courier or regular post mail? What address in Mississauga did you send it too? I know we sent ours by courier and we had to send it to:

If you did send it courier, do you have a tracking number because you should also contact the courier service to which you sent it and ask them if it had been delivered successfully!! Also I was wondering if your wife may have been using her maiden name or your married name? It may have been an honest mistake on her part if she did provide that information. Do you have a receipt number for paid fees? She may be able to use that as well when calling the call centre. I really hope you can clear this matter up quickly and that they or you find your missing app A.S.A.P We wish you the best of luck, keep us updated!!

My application is in Syria damascus will they start the process right away or I have to wait till next year jan and this sucks people have been waiting 13 months or more and last year and the year before my cousin brought there wife's and husbands in less them 5 months wtf

Well that is good news at least that it is at the V.O now and hopefully it won't be a long process for you having to wait so long. I know our app was just approved and we haven't gotten our letter as it was only sent out yesterday. We are playing the same waiting game here as well. But it will depend on their system and how many people are actually ahead of you. I know it sucks, but we need to be patient and hopefully it will not take that long for your wife to come home. You said that your cousin brought their wife/husband over in less than 5 months. Maybe at that time they had less cases to deal with at the time the app was sent in. You also must remember that their has been more fraudulent marriage cases and that they are taking extra precautions to protect the citizens of the Country to where the applicant is arriving to. It just makes it tougher for those (us) that are in true genuine marriages. Just keep your chin up, we are all in the same boat and just hope that all of us will be united with our spouses soo soon.

Just got updates on Ecas, my adress and my lawyer's adress are now showing!

Does that mean anything or...?

E-Cas tracker shows that mine has been updated too but no actual changes. Not sure what that means for you buthopefully it's good. I'm hoping it means my application is finally with Sydney...

Our Ecas was updated to showing "decision made" finallyyy   We already know we got approval but it was nice to see that before getting our letter. Now just for my husband's visa to come home!!

I am soo sorry you are going through this right now  I really hope for the best for you and your wife. I know it is frustrating and I will keep my fingers crossed and pray that you are able to locate the app . I wish you guys all the best.
