And I gave up my IT-career after 4 years of work, nowadays I am working as Technical Sales, do you have any list on how much they earn per hour?
But, I used to work as a network administrator.

also, we should only discuss IT-jobs here, sorry :)

Thanks. The reason I asked is because I would believe that Microstrategy would pay more than Mainframe but the above states otherwise.

Guess it's all "relative" and the above is a general idea.

Good thread to follow!!!

Can we start our own company and then contract via that? Sine we get the PR so we CAN open our own company.

But is opening our own company a problem? Since in our AINP H1B SRS application we talk about US jobs and how we plan to search for a job in Alberta?

Also even if we open our company, contract via that, then hire people and earn income on their contract, Would this jeopardize our chances of being a citizen down the line since we came to Canada on SRS?

I am fed up of jobs and want to work on my own.

Thoughts!!!

Thanks

Canadian PR gives you liberty to work as employee, be an entrepreneur or stay at home :) use your savings.
I think it's a good idea to be your own boss. I am in for it.

That's what everybody is gonna do. Wife will be Account manager/HR person and Mr. Reddy will be CEO in Edmonton Full freedom to abuse the system as you will have green card. Whatever learned in United States from tax saving to resume preparation, everything will be applied there and then after like Australia, some racial attacks will start happen on these newly arrived immigrants because whatever jobs are available there will be hunted by these Alberta-Goolti companies and Govt  of Alberta will have to impose new restrictions on these Enterpreneurs who abuse the system.
