Hi every body
I have selected as a canadian immigrant and  am planning to enter canada. My relative is living in canada. I will broorw money from him. But due to the money exchange rate ( dollar-yen-dollar) I will loose some money if I collect money from him in cash.
What I am thinking to recieve a certified check from my relative and bring with me. Is it allowed? or only cash is permitted.

Please share your experience.

Thanks in advance for your comment.

Certified cheque/ bankers cheque/ demand draft is all right. Cash in possession is not the requirement.

Do you already have your VISA? Try opening an account with ScotiaBank... it may be an option
