Hey Marlena, I hope you feeling better today.
Well, when they asked for the FBI and state..., the email was sent to me only, witch made the lawyer angry...Smiley
when we sent them the additional documnet and saw on DHL site that they received them,  the lawyer sent them an email telling them that we sent everything they asked for, and if they need anything else, to contact him.
When they sent the passport request email it was sent to me and him...so no way to predict how they think and act, I guess the rule is no rule

I will love to have a cup..I am having my afternoon Nescafe.
Are you capable to write in arabic, I mean good arabic in arabic letter? if so that is good...
I think it is the best solution to do, after all they know that there is no way to register civil marriage in lebanon, I made some google research today, it can't be done.
What are you going to do with the receipt of PRF, are you going to send them the copy.
I hope you are right, and tomorrow I will get the email, ..I wished I were able to be in windsor before june 24 to see the fireworks in detroit river, but I will see it on CNN...

it is good that your brother in Law can help you out.
Well actually , we thinking to settle in canada, because from stuff that I read here and there, life in canada, specially places like windsor are more suitable for us as lebanese, as well as to raise a family. I go and visit Michigan and my husband family there, but I guess canada will me my country from now on.
Good luck in cutting the brass, we have the same problem, we have a double backyard in our house in Michigan, so cuting the grass even that we bought a small tracteur to do so, but it taKE about 3 hour to do so.
Have a nice afternoon.

Ok I finished my letter and want your opinion.
Boncuk I change some information so disregard your PM.

To may it concern,

In reference to you letter dated June 14, 2009 please find attached as required.

1- A copy of Supplementary Information Form completed and signed.

2- Copy of my sponsor (XXXXXXX) paid the Right of Permanent Residence fee of $1040.00 on my behalf in  Canada. Original receipt is already forwarded to the Case Processing Centre- Mississauga.

3 Regarding my family list as well my civil status showing my sponsor (XXXXXX) and myself as a married couple:

- Please find attached a true copy of our marriage certificate that took place in Canada which is valid under the Canadian law showing my spouse (XXXXXX) and myself as a married couple.

- Civil marriage is not recognized in Lebanon since it's not performed by a religious authority. In order for me to change my civil status as well adding my spouse (XXXXXXX) on my family list a church ceremony performed by a religious authority will take place sometimes during next the year or in the near future. Therefore we will not be able to make all the changes within the 90 days period time that it was specified in your letter.

My wife (xxxxxx) is planning a visit to Lebanon from September 14, 2009 until October 27, 2009. Please refer to the attached Itinerary receipt for more details.
Since she is only authorized to take 6 weeks of vacation from her work in Canada, we are unable to accomplish all the preparation or the requested documents in order for us to arrange the church ceremony in Lebanon as planed.

However once the church ceremony takes place in the future I will be able to change the status of the requested documents.

Please do not hesitate to contact me for further information.

Sincerely,

(xxxxxxxx)

Hey Marlena, how you today.
I read your letter, I think it is good. In my personal opinion, I guess if you be more specified in the marriage date, to give it more emphasize, and to prove to them that you were planning to get marry when you come to Lebanon, but your vacation is shorter than you need to prepare a wedding. Just a suggestion, I guess Boncuk and Boujasim will have a better ideas.

Rorita how are you??? Any good news for you??? Did you receive any email.
Now my plan of the other ceremony is on hold. Until I fix everything I won't be able to take any chances and let my husband change his status. It will create more problem than resolving it.
What did you mean about specific dates?Huh If I'm staying 6 weeks I am going to run after fixing my last name and my date of birth since I'm floating somewhere is their system :0).

what I mean is for the sentence in bold, I don't know, if you can give it a random date, I think it will look better to the IO eyes.
No email yet for me, I just checked e-cas, it said decision made, and under decision made there was:
We started processing your application on February 12, 2009.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision

So now, the last step is the email. Thank God we have reached this level.
I will see you later, I am going out for some shopping now...Smiley)

OK Marlena here is my two cents Smiley

To whom it may concern:

In reference to your letter dated June 14, 2009 please find attached as required.

1- A copy of Supplementary Information Form completed and signed.

2- Copy of the receipt my wife(XXXXXXX) paid all fees including the Right of Permanent Residence fee of $1040.00 on my behalf in Canada. Original receipt was already forwarded to the Case Processing Centre- Mississauga.

3 Regarding my family list as well my civil status showing my wife (XXXXXX) and myself as a married couple:

- Please find attached a true copy of our marriage certificate that took place in Canada which is valid under the Canadian law showing my spouse (XXXXXX) and myself as a legally married couple.

- Civil marriage is not recognized in Lebanon since it's not performed by a religious authority. In order for me to change my civil status as well adding my spouse (XXXXXXX) on my family list a church ceremony performed by a religious authority will take place sometime in the near future. Therefore we will not be able to make all the changes within the 90 days period time that it was specified in your letter. We wanted to make it sooner but with time constraints of my spouse's visit we wouldn't have the amount of time needed to prepare for this ceremony.

My wife (xxxxxx)is arriving in Lebanon from September 14, 2009 until October 27, 2009. Please refer to the attached itinerary receipt for more details.
Since she is only authorized to take 6 weeks of vacation from her work in Canada, we are unable to accomplish all the preparation or the requested documents in order for us to arrange the church ceremony in Lebanon as planned. As far as we are concerned we are a legally married couple and have been since the beginning, unfortunately the laws in Lebanon don't allow us to be registered properly as we had a civil marriage performed at the Justice of the Peace in wherever Canada.
However once the church ceremony takes place in the future I will be able to change the status of the requested documents if needed by Canadian Immigration.

Please do not hesitate to contact me for further information.

Sincerely,
