Asking for interview after passport request

Hi everyone

Is it possible for the embassy to ask for passport request and then interview? If someone has been asked for passport, could you please let me know if the passport request has a little chart to be completed? i.e. eye color, height, etc

There can be an interview after the passport request. Some embassies ask for the passport very early in processing, and it does not mean that they are ready to issue the visa - New Delhi is an example.
