Alright all, I looked around and I did not find any special Topic on Arranged Employment. This Topic will be dedicated to the ones who have Job Offer and their employer has applied HRSDC / Service Canada for their AEO (Arranged Employment Opinion). I request others to share their timeline and opinion as well.

My Timeline in this regard:
Job Offer: 25-01-2010
Acceptance of Job Offer: 06-02-2010
Submitted to Service Canada: 12-02-2010
Acknowledgement Letter from Center #1877 in NB: 25-02-2010
Inquired update on 01-06-2010: Service Canada currently at this date is processing application received by them on 06-01-2010.
Status: Still under process (but I do not know if still I am queue or my file is under process.)

rKo, I did not receive any positive or negative opinion yet. Don't worry, your our turn may be reached just some time now.
In my employer acknowledgement letter it was mentioned (in a generic way) it will take 10-12 weeks from the date they received, but in practice it is different.
Once our file is on their table, I don't think it takes much of time to reply (maybe one month), what do you think? I hope we won't be disappointed.

Hi all,

How did you all get Offers of Employment from outside Canada? Directly or through some agent? Have you studied in Canada? or have contacts that have helped you get employment offers?

Please help us... a lot of us here on the forum have questions about getting an Employment offer letter! Also, what NOC's do you all belong to? Any suggestions/feedback will help.

Thanks

The acknowledgement letter goes to the employer and Cc to your lawyer/consultant they will have the file no. which is a 7 digit no.
Can you tell us which Service Canada center your consultant/employer has applied from ...?

For those who look for a joboffer and AEO,
Some of the immigration consultatant/lawyer service providers are joint or acquired employment/recruitment companies to find a suitable emplyer for you.
One of them is this same site we are writing in: Canadavisa Job Search
This depends totally on you profile ....

Hi all,

our timeline:
- AEO request was send in to NB HRSDC in April.
- Confirmation of HRSDC on 5-25-2010 that AEO is received on 5-18-2010.
- In this confirmation the HRSDC is letting our future employer know that the processingtime is now approximately 18-20 weeks Shocked !!!!
So, we still have to wait for about 9-10 weeks...... Huh

Regards,
Louise!

On Oct 02, 2009, according to my lawyer, I was thinking HRSDC's processing time is 8 - 10 weeks
And according to Service Canada's acknowledgement, date: 2010-02-25, the application was received in their office on Feb 19, 2010. This letter says processing time approx. 10-12 weeks (=4 months).

I think my application will be on processing after 5 months accordingly, which means 2010-July-25. And God Willing max by early Sep 2010, the first phase finishes (total 6-6.5 months). If the opinion will be positive by God's Grace, it worth it to wait all this long, because on the other main side of immigration file it takes max 10-12 months.

You are lucky you know since begining you have to wait 5 months. After sometimes you may inquire to see if your turn has come up and any agent was assigned to your case or not. I am going to do this in a week or 10 days.

Hi xnista,

what do you mean by "after some time you may inquire to see if your turn has come up and any agent was assigned to your case or not?"
Is there a link where we can take a look and see how far our AEO has been processed?
We got our filenumber because our future employer has send a copy of the confirmationletter to us.
At first we got a processingtime of 5-10 weeks but now they say 18-20 weeks, so our patience will be tested I think Wink
They even said that the processingtimes are different for each province, but for ON it WAS 5-10 weeks.
Hopefully the embassy will work harder and we will be having our visa early next year..... Smiley

Regards,
Louise!
