Hi,

I've been working here in Canada for over two years now as a Semi-Skilled Worker, unfortunately I am in a very difficult situation; the company I work for, for two years just went bankrupt and had to change to a new company name, where we are currently being absorbed (still under same management).

Though we have been given a job offer for a Skilled Position under this new company name (our LMO is still on the process- and they showed willingness to help us apply for residency) , I wonder how will this affect my application if I apply through Arranged Employment  (FSW Cat2). Do I need to wait until my “new” company has turned one year before I can apply for AEO (provided that I already have a skilled LMO)?

How long is the processing time nowadays to get an AEO approved?

Thank you and I'd really appreciate any information you can provide me.
