Hi everyone,

i have just sent my application to CIC for the Skilled worker category.
To save some time, i am in the process of collecting the other documents required at the 2nd stage.

regarding the university/college transcripts, i have old transcripts which i used for the MS Application in US in 2002. Would it be ok to send these transcripts? They are still intact inside the sealed envelope with the college seal on that.

So do i need to again apply for transcripts or can i send the old ones? Please confirm

Thanks everyone!

Should not be a problem. Transcripts are transcripts. They don't change with time.
Is it addressed to a university or is it just a "TO whom it may concern"?

Please

As mentioned in the above post, Transcripts do not have any expiry date like the PCCs and they do not change with time.
Logically speaking even if you request for a Transcripts today it will be given based on your 8-10 years back certificates & Marksheets.

I think Old Transcripts which are Intact and in sealed envelopes are as good as New. CIC should not have any reason rejecting it and nowhere on the CIC website does it say that Transcripts should be issued 1year/ 6months from the application date.

Good Luck
