Does anyone know if immigration medical costs and/or legal fees are tax deductible? Someone who used to work in finance suggested that I find out about it. The link below got me wondering if work permits or permanent residence status are considered to establish a right to salary or wages?

www.cra-arc.gc.ca/tx/ndvdls/tpcs/ncm-tx/rtrn/cmpltng/ddctns/lns206-236/232/lgl-eng.html

Has anyone been able to claim these expenses? I intend to find out(lol) and will share my findings.
