Is there any way to know if all visa for this year got exhausted or still there are chance to get passport request?

-In last 6-8 weeks, I have submitted RPRF, medical reports reached to CIC, and submitted PCC (again).

Any chance to get passport request & Visa this year.

I got my PPR approx 6 weeks after my medical results reached RNH-Ottawa and 10 weeks after I did my medicals.

Hey u r still here.... just kidding... but was expecting that u might leave the the forum... but as old saying... bad habits takes time to go... Tongue

-RPRF (8 June)                                                               -  8 weeks
-Medical done (9th June)                                                 -  8 weeks
-Medical Reach (27th June Ottawa)                                   -  6 weeks
-FBI re-submitted (reached Buffalo) - 29 July                      -  1 week


I think, last year visa got exhausted in Sept (very few people got PP request in/after Sept.)...... so not sure what's the status for this year...

guys any clue if such information exists?

good to see some old faces here  as anumatri just said  Smiley

Dunhass ( which always reminds me one of Toronto's streets named Dundas),,,

the moment they issue you the PPR, after you've sent the PP , they'd be in pressure to return the  stamped PP and soon you'd be into Canada making the job hunt flockers more intensified for the already entered 0213's . i guess that is the reason they are making the delay.

Just a quick question:

If there are no visa left in the bag of buffalo VO. will it afact mychance of getting medical request in 2011. Now I am feeling that this wait is taking forever. I am waiting for the medical since may 2010 (date of my 2 nd AOR).

personally i'm not too worried about the quota getting full so early ... last year they had 20,000 quota for new apps and pre-june2010 people got PPR even in Dec (2010) ... this year the quota is 10,000 and pre-june2010 PPRs stop in August? I can't believe that ... (although on a second thought this could very well be the case since this time we have post-june2010-pre-june2011 acting as a backlog too, if i'm not wrong)

i would like to blame everything on the stupid security clearance delays until December 2011 ... then I would blame it on winter break ... only after that i would start thinking about quota getting full
