I am wondering the following.

When I applied to sponsor my wife I had just left a good job to attend graduate school. I was approved without any problems in 3 weeks so now it is just a matter of my wife's application being processed (which takes forever since it is in Islamabad). I am almost done with grad school and have already signed a contract to start a job in August as soon as I graduate. Is this information of any relevance as far as my wife's application goes? Since I have already been approved I'm assuming they are okay with my side of things but maybe such information is still considered important? Would appreciate any input.

I think you have already been approved and there is no income requirement. Should it come up in an interview on how you are going to support yourselves you can bring up the job.
