I sent my application to Sydney ,and they received on April 20...Yesterday they email me my file number also

"Your application has been transferred from the CIO to the Case Processing Pilot-Ottawa (“CPP-O”) office. All enquiries and correspondence must be addressed to the CPP-O office, unless directed otherwise."

....

"Processing time

Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the category that you have applied have a processing standard of 10 months. If you have not received any instructions from this office by 120 days from the date of this letter, you are requested to contact this office directly."

Have you send the police clearance with the application? Did they request them from you?

Thankfully I didn't need to send the police clearance It takes time and cost money :-s

Thankfully I didn't need to send the police clearance It takes time and cost money :-s

How come, isn't it mandatory ?
or there are some countries exempted from that ?!!

I sent my documents on the 20th. CIO received it on the 23rd of April according to Canada post Tracking. I called my bank account and the money was cashed on the 9th of May but I haven't heard anything since then. No email nothing. When I click on Check application on the cic.gc.ca website nothing shows up there as well.

I finally got my AOR, NOW.
my application was received 4th April.

I guess yours are gonna be in the next few days.

They actually send it after 11:00 pm, weird

I did not send my police certificate to them. I dunno how this should delay my file !!
Does any one have any idea ?

Question.... My work permit will expire in December 2012. Do I need another LMO? Do I have another option?

I've been in Canada since I'm 17 years old!

It is likely you will have to extend your LMO to stay in Canada while waiting your CEC to be processed ...
This is to ensure you legally staying in Canada only ...

My Application was submitted on 4th April -> CIC reached my application on April 12th -> Bank drafted on 19th April -> No Updates

No AOR and Ecas not showing anything with my client ID.

my applications reached CIO on April 14 according to tracking. i haven't received anything yet. the waiting feels like forever. others are getting AORs already.
