I believe it is from the day your application is received.
Have not heard anything yet, and looks like that March 2012 applicants havnt heard anything either. So at least a good month and a half of waiting time is expected.

Hi April Applicants, Just Curios as to where everyone stands. i tried to check my application status onlive but there is no record. i submitted my application on April 13 and it was recieved on April 16th. I tried calling this number 18882422100 but cant get anywhere with it. i need help guys. what number can i call? how do i check if my application has been received? any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!! Good luck All!!!  |

I sent my documents on April 20th and the CIC received it on April 23rd. Checking your status online doesn't bring up anything how ever I did call CIC and they confirmed that they received my application. I would highly recommend that you guys give cic a call just to confirm if they received your documents are not. They are able to check that for you. Also its a good way to update your information on their system if necessary.
What number did you call? have you received any other update? |

Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the category that you have applied have a processing standard of 10 months. If you have not received any instructions from this office by 120 days from the date of this letter, you are requested to contact this office directly. """Best lucks to everybody ... Just a quick question to the Sr. team, Is CEC will process with refernce to NOC code ?

Hi Destinychild, Yes I did get the file number along with the email. Congratulations, this is great. I submitted my application 1st April and recieved a few days later. I guess I should be waiting for the email soon. What is the title of this email and who is the sender. I probably need to check in the spam folder !!

Hi Educhinbo, I wouldn't be able to track my application online prior to receipt of my AOR simply because you did not have a file number assigned by CIC. Now I can track online using the file number assigned by CIC. In the email my application was received on April 14th, though CIC online says otherwise "We received your application for permanent residence on April 19, 2012." Anyhow, good luck to ya' all ... !!! |

My application was couriered to the Sydney, NS office on April 04th. No communication yet. Fingers crossed.. Guess i will get the Acknowledgemet in the next few weeks..
