Another May 28 person got an AOR!
I read in their annual report I think it was or some other CIC report that the new system was to make it easier to enter applications into their system... like other members have said, I'm thinking it has to do with the new forms the bar code is scanned and an email is generated... that's my guess, with CIC the least probable reason could be right lol |

Ecas worked for me for the first time.
Application filed: April 04/2012
Received by CIC- Miss on April 05/2012
The status says that the application has been received and the decision has been made and has been mailed to me on June 29/2012.
Congratulations!!! that's awesome!! Got excited to see an april get approval!! You should try calling them sometimes they'll tell you the decision over the phone. |

I m so happy atlast CIC has started with april application ...i wish all of us approvals within first 2 weeks of july...really now my heart is pumping faster then before....and check my inbox everyday...hope everything goes smooth for us and all get approvals asap

I just received my letter of approval from CPP-O . . The letter was dated June 22,2012 .
According to my ecas, they received my application last April 2,2012. . I think CPP-O are sending mails for April Applicants while CPC-M are working on May Apps. .

Thanks. What number should I call and whats the best time for it? Also, it mentioned that they started processing my application on June 29/2012 and then it says decision had been made on the same day (June 29/2012)...So it only takes them less than a day to process and make a decision? |

To decide eligibility for sponsorship, why not? Income versus current undertakings. If you have convincing "income" and NO current undertakings, it should take all of about 30 seconds to decide. |

I think the same but then they should be able to do 100s of applications in a day. I wonder how many applicants apply every month? |

Yes, they are always further than what they post but the mail takes time too. I would rather check the mailboxes than the email inboxes.
