My guess is April 15+ went to Ottawa. Beginning of April is in Mississauga.
How you come to this assumption? There is no indication where that friend got the AOR from. Lets see what the next days bring. |

Or the beginning of April went to Ottawa...we really don't know, as it could be either way...or neither. And it's not necessarily a bad thing if some of Aprilicants are being processed in CIC-M...they seem to have picked up the pace after CIC-O showed them what's up... I'll be checking my e-mail all the time until that approval or AOR comes through...I just want to get this part of the process completed. We have to sell our car, book our plane tickets, arrange for our dogs, exchange our money to CAD$ and wire most of it to Canada...the timing is going to be tight because I need the car for work... Because Mississauga has been doing Feb and March while Ottawa did end of March awhile ago so I don't see how Mississauga could have jumped to mid-April. I am guessing the end of April went to Ottawa because that is similar to what happened with Feb/March. Ottawa got apps from two weeks ahead. I guess we will find out. |

Wherever the Applications are, its time for the first flood of April Applicants to hear something. No more pitty patter, here and there AOR and approvals. Lets roll the flood of Approvals. Its time and we deserve it now. There are times where things get messed up and it will be straightened out and back to standards. I know, its a government entity but even government has to sooner or later get back to standards.

Ok, the story goes like this, they sent their application last april 16,2012 and they received an email telling them that something was wrong with their application, so her husband sent some forms and sent additional documents from the sponsor. So the 2nd time they received and email from the immigration was the AOR with the UCI, they received the email june 30, 2012.

Really feeling down now. But I must say i think her theory is sound. missi has been doing the last of March, and the 16th is right in the middle of the month. When Ottawa first started up pushing through March, I did wonder if April would go to Missi.  |

Well that suggests that if something is wrti=ong with your application, we would have heard by now. No suggestion were the email originated from tho.  |

I think it's great that your friend got an AOR. I hope they don't skip ahead, though. It's not fair to start in the middle. They should start from the 1st.
I really can't keep waiting like this without even knowing if they have my package and whether there are any problems. This is pure torture!!

I agree. I had the same feeling whether cic got my application or not for 90days. and finally got relieved when got aor. I can understand your feeling. you can just have patience and pray that officer picks up file asap and starts working on it. |
