Hi all. My husband is sending ours in today (April 25th 2012). I'm the applicant and he's the sponsor, and it'll be going to the Mississauga processing center in Ontario. We've known eachother for almost 3 years, and now we can start the waiting game. I'm a mixture of nervous and excited. I am certain that we will have our rounds around beginning June. It would be a great present for our Anniversary June 3rd. Seems January was a very busy months with tons of applications coming in. I have read on here that the February and March are jjust 1/3 and 1/4 of Januaries applications. Hope that is true and CIC gets ground on the backlog.
Just had a look around at the other spreadsheets, and there was a large number of applications in January....65!! Febuary 23, and March just 17. There will be lots more that arn't on the forum, but you could take that as a general poll on number trends. So we should see times coming down and things speeding up.  |

Yes! Timeline is finally moving...and I think we can estimate total numbers from the Jan, Feb, and March spreadsheets. I bet it goes back to 55 days by the end of May. Hopefully we can all get our approval by the end of June!

we also didnt get the original police certificate or birth certificate because we also had it notarized and translated by a government notary. I believe this is ok because it is considered to be as good as the original. We had to get a peice of paper notarized and translated because my wife lost her birthcertificate. We needed to go to the police station in the town she was born and photo copy the birth registary book and then we had it notarized and translated by the goverment and the government officer said that this is now her birth certificate. Actually I can not remember if we got a 2nd copy of the original police certificate but for sure we didnt give them the original birth certificate
