Thats true KJG.. Hope your second stage will pickup and cover some time on the overall timeline. yes no one should have to wait as long as feb and march did......especially since this is suppose to be the "fast" stage...LOL

Thanks Caprwife.....I am just glad the first part is over......I can enjoy my summmer now and not start to fret until oh mid-August....LOL........although does not stop me from logging in at least twice a day to ecas and see if there is any updates!!!! And I am absolutely addicted to this forum!!! |

Yes! Lots of activity on the March thread. What I don't understand is why is CIC-O able to process applications so much faster than CIC-M? More officers working the cases or what? Let's hope that April got forwarded to Ottawa! From the looks of it, it seems they are trying to clear March by the end of this week or early next week. Great news and keep it up CIC!

That's true FS. If we get same number of approvals as yesterday, we are almost done with March applicants atleast with the sample that we have on this forum which actually reflects where CIC is heading to .... I wish goodluck for all the prospective applicants waiting for approvals. Yes! Lots of activity on the March thread. What I don't understand is why is CIC-O able to process applications so much faster than CIC-M? More officers working the cases or what? Let's hope that April got forwarded to Ottawa! From the looks of it, it seems they are trying to clear March by the end of this week or early next week. Great news and keep it up CIC!

Latest update on the CIC site:
June 27 - working on applications received on February 29.
At least we can confirm without a doubt that the CIC website and their updates are pointless and totally inaccurate. According to the spreadsheets, they're working on the end of March.
Are they actually going to update for the first week of March, second week of March, etc? If they are already finished, can't they just skip ahead???
Sheesh...whoever is in charge should be sacked (in the sense of getting fired and also...).

At least we can confirm without a doubt that the CIC website and their updates are pointless and totally inaccurate. According to the spreadsheets, they're working on the end of March.
Are they actually going to update for the first week of March, second week of March, etc? If they are already finished, can't they just skip ahead???

Looks like we are getting a lot closer, cant wait till we see all the same positivity as the March thread, people are getting approved left and right and amazed to see how many AOR are actually getting received, hopefully this means they got thier sh*t together at CIC and we will see things continually move faster, I am crossing my fingers for approval by the second week of July, hopefully the long weekend doesnt influence CIC to go back to slacker mode !

May be they are trying to just reflect CIC-M situation there and most of the March applicants are receiving approvals from CIC-O? Also, that date probably just shows the oldest applications they are working on. Certainly, if they update the date as, say 21-Mar-2012... people who applied before that date and awaiting their approvals will start calling CIC for updates. But, that 82 days processing time beats me. |

Interestingly, the last few have been coming from the hole that was previously known as CIC M. Lets hope that theve had a lesson on work ethics by CIC O  |
