WAT WIFE CALLED THEM YESTEDAY THEY SAID IT REACHED VO ON 30 MAY 2011..... DONT KNOW.... I GUESS ITS FUN FOR THEM..... ANYWAYS I M HAPPY THAT THEY STATRED WORKING ON OUR CASE...... GOOD LUCK 2 ALL |

hey guys... hope u all enjoying your sunday.....its 54 days since application filed..... dont know how many more days to go......... this wait omg......... GL 2 ALL  80 days since April 1. Lots of waiting, all 'round. To put it in context, on April 1: + The great Tohoku earthquake wasn't even three weeks old + Western involvement in Libya was ten days old + Serbia's Ratko Mladic was still on the loose + The Presidents of Ivory Coast and Yemen were still in power + Osama bin Laden still had a month to live + The royal wedding in the UK was still a month away A lot of this stuff already feels like old news. A whole season has changed since April 1. Here in Toronto temperatures were still ~0-3ºC every night—now it's daily highs around 28-30ºC. |

Hi all,
got my PPR 2 weeks ago, but I already planned a holiday with my wife, and I needed my passport for that, so I sent it only 2 days ago....
hopefully they received it in one piece and I get it back soon, I can't wait to complete this road for 100%.
Anyway, I plan to land in the beginning of october, because I still got some money to make in my (nice) job I have right now, to make my integration-period-without-a-job a bit (or a lot) easier.
I mean: every extra month I work now, I save money for 2 months in Canada of finding a new job and integrating....
Now I really have to hurry to learn french quickly.... omg.... it all went much faster than planned, originally i expected to leave in december (if lucky) or januari, but it already is almost done.
Now we have a landing-date in mind in between what's possible according to the visa I'll get soon and the previously planned landing-date.
No sense in staying here for another 5 or 6 months, without my wife. Makes no sense....
I think I am gonna collect money door by door to be able to leave in 2 weeks or so, lol ;-)
Or win a poker-tournament, that'll help.
My original planning was to have enough money to easily survive a full year, without the need of working, but now this all changes.
It will be very hard to not quit my job instantly when I have my passport back, but a bit of ratio is needed in this emotional process too, right?

Hey people! My husband just received an email with the file number from the VO and saying that they have created the file. I guess that doesnt mean that its in process right? lol.. they also wrote that it takes around 12 months to this VO to process the application! Really hoping it be quicker than that!!! Nobody else got news? Its pretty quiet around here these days.. |

@ uccemebug : No i said that i saw on ecas that the VO received the file on the 4th, but its the first time i get something from Buenos Aires. It looks like you did that with everybody no? Oh.. i know this was subject to a little fight before... lol but wouldnt it be nice that it be by VO in the spreadsheet? so we see better which VO is doing what..? just a thought!

It's easy enough to sort. Why not make a copy and play around to see what you like? What I had trouble with last time was that the file was left in a state that I couldn't edit it any more. I had to download it to Excel, unlock it, straighten it out, and upload it again. The thing's enough work as it is. Here's an .xls copy for you. conrax dear it mean they have created a fileno. for ur application at least they have received it in there records n put it in queue but it doesnt mean its in process.......yeh itll take less then tht they give u the time which is on web site. good luck all Hey people!
