Hey I don't think so because for credit check they need SSN for US to pull credit history and they never asked that nor we do give
them anything like that.
I guess you might not have good credit history.lol

yeh i had some problem with  my phone company i didnt pay themi left tht country after tht so was just worried but dear do u know they do background check through sm agencies so think those agencies may check this for them....................? pcc is diff then background check. n they do background check in everycase.

Yes, I know they do but really no agency can pull your credit history without your SSN.
Its Mandatory to have SSN for any agency to pull credit history.
All they need is you can have done any major fraud like opened a financial company and then declared it as
bankrupt or something along the lines.
You don't need to worry, I have seen illegal people IN US got married and migrated to Canada.
As long as you dont have any criminal record.
FBI report says no record found then you are totally good to go.
Trust me nothing like that.

thx mate i was also told this thing by my friend n he told me a story tht one of his known took loan in scotland n came back to india then moved to other country without paying back n during his background check there was no problem(is it possible?).............but had sm doubt in mind thx for it.

by the way can u plz tell me who call call center u frm india or ur wife frm canada bcoz they dont answer phone calls cm frm outside canada as they didnt talk to u n incanda call they dont answer like this n can u tell me wht no didu call at

Nope not at all.
They just want to make sure there is no threat to country before allowing a person PR.
So they just PPC and also make sure Medical reports are fine.
PCC medical and genuine marriage its all they check like focus on it for spousal visa category.
If everything is fine then you get VISA with in 2 weeks. DW mate I am sure you will get stamping this month only.

i don't think so they give visa within 2weeks man......
as my cousin went to canada last month i mean in may.....
new delhi send her passport request in end of feb 2011 n send it bk with visa on 8th may 2011.....
also der is no interview nothing...

Its all your luck man and how blessed you are.
Thats all I can say and pray that everyone get VISA soon and get united with their life partner soon.
Its brutal hard to stay away from spouse, can't even describe it.
