Hi, tell your husband to check his email, may be the letter of approval sent it to your husband through email...

I wonder if perhaps filters are sending these CIC emails to people's spam folder? I know that gmail sent my emails from my bank (HSBC) to the spam folder. Caused weeks of delays....

I don´t know if it´s the same when you pay at the bank directly.

Like uccembug said how about the spam folder? I guess there is no difference if you pay online or in a bank coz I paid my fee through bank. Dont worry too much that DM of yours is a POSITIVE DM  for sure

If you're looking through your spam folder for the email from CIC, the sender address is:

CPCM-EXTCOM @ cic.gc.ca

You can also search for text like:

"Citizenship and Immigration Canada – CPCM - Communication to client"
"CASE PROCESSING CENTRE   CLIENT"

I am very worried because I have no news about the desicion.
The letter was sent on 7 and has not received anything because the postal code is not correct and we have not received any message either.

I feel a little sad, but I know God will help us!!

I know how you feel. My application was received (according to Canada Post tracking) on April 27th and I have heard nothing yet, too. All you can do is assume that everything was delivered. Once you send it in, you really have no more power. So it really is in the hands of God or, in this case, immigration officers

Nice work. The variance on the times is incredible. Maybe a shared google doc would be the way to go for this month's data, too. Hmm...

That was easy! I've decoded "PPR" but what's "AOR"?

 @ atethepaint, gauging the ~5 week response time right now I'm guessing you'll hear a response in the first week of June. You did submit three weeks after some of us...

So part one is done. Now onto part 2, which will be the hardest. We're so nervous.

I have another question...let's say Buffalo gets our application by June 1st and they open it on June 20th. How long do they normally take before they say..sorry, you and your sponsor are fine but we don't approve your choice of application? (ie. Conjugal)

OK. I've updated my spreadsheet (see previous post). For those of you who have not yet heard from CIC, we're looking at an average of 34 calendar days. I've calculated an estimate for each of you. See the figure in red.

Have a look at the times for the London spreadsheet. While they're all over the place, it looks like people tend to hear back in a reasonable time frame.

I have another question. In Mississauga they decided if the sponsor is approved to sponsor. Therefore giving the Decision Made. When they send off the paperwork after that first step, to Buffalo...do they send Buffalo ALL of the paperwork? Or do they subtract the Sponsors paperwork and keep it in Mississauga?
