Received my application on May Started Processing in June. It went to a pilot Office in Ottawa I heard its a MUCH faster process over there is this true ? Input please !!

Yea..Thats rite! I too got my Passport Request through my Lawyer on 8th July. The PPR Letter was dated 15th June 2011 and was delayed due to the Postal Strike.
@ canvisa .... congrats ..... can u plz tell us wen u send ur pp to nd so dat we can update .. if you dont mind........ wish u a speedy visa...... |

Hey, Thanks! I have sent the Passport on the 11th July. The Ecas status has now been updated to "In Process" The Ecas now states that: "We received XX application for permanent residence on June 2, 2011. We started processing XX application on July 11, 2011. Medical results have been received." |

Hey guys,
I applied back in April 2011. According to ECAS, my wife's Permanent Resident Application Status is "Application Received" by Singapore VO in May 27, 2011. That's the last entry on ECAS. It's almost been two months since they received it.
How long do you reckon before they touch our file and start processing it? Neither of us haven't heard anything from CIC-M nor Singapore VO since the last time they approved my application to sponsor my wife.
My wife is planning to take a National Dentistry Equivalency Board exam in February, and she intends to be in Toronto in around mid-November. Do you reckon the Immigration Office will grant her a TRV?
Should I bother ordering a CAIPS note? Should I continue bombarding them with Emails? Should I fly to Singapore to see what they're up to?
BY THE WAY, any April 2011 Singapore applicants here? Have you heard anything from CIC-M/Singapore VO? I assume ya'll have been approved to become a sponsor, and waiting for to hear their decision on your spouse's application to become a PR?

We started processing XX application on July 14, 2011. Medical results have been received." but i didnt get any letter or email to sending my passport till now... did u get any letter or email asking you to send your passport ? thankssss  |

I checked my e-cas (sponsor) and my adress was there.. and then i checked my husband's (sponsored) and his adress is gone.. Someone got that happen too? *fingers crossed that it means something....*  lol but it still says application received blablabla.. and nothing else P.S. is someone still updating the spreadsheet? |

Hello
I have a question, I hope someone can be able to help me. My husband is sponsoring me, he is in Canada and I am in Cape Town. Will it affect my correspondence, with my VO if they start sending me letters or anything, if i decide to move from where I am staying right now to somewhere else, (but still living in cape town) that will mean I change my postal address.. I would not want to delay my application process or result in mail being lost. But they do send everything on email as well hey...
