My Application reached CIO on 14th of April. I think it will be July 1st week or later that I can expect my acknowledgment letter (if at all)..

How do you check status of your application sent to CIO without B number (before AOR)?

I called CIO helpline number for status check and they inturn provided me my client id stating that I need to specify my client id next time instead of name and date of birth.

 It so seems from roa_manoj's email that even though the application was received by CIO(NS) on 7th Apr, it actually was entered into their system on the 8th of April. I checked my status online and it is the same for me as well, i.e Application Recd at NS on 8th April (according to courier tracking) but in-system on 9th April.

I think this is important for the the applicants who wanted their applications to reach by the "10th April deadline" to avoid the IELTS. These applicants have to be extra careful about the IELTS. They probably have to write the test to be on the safe side if they are depending on the 67 pass point system.

I am not sure what were the reasons to make the "in system" entry of applications on the next day....maybe they collect all the applications on a said day and then enter them on the next day. This is the best explanation that I could think of.

I hate it (and hope everyone else feels the same) when no movement is seen on a particular day.
Why no news today(june 17)... a working way in canada, are non-canadavisa members being selectively evaluated or is CIO sleeping on our applications?
CIO folks..weather is good in canada these days, go to the beaches if you are tired working and let somebody else work on applications.

Hi Kenzo,

You need to call at 16139444000  and then select options in this sequence    1...2...1...2....1

You would be placed in queue and after 5-10 minutes, your call would be attended by someone. The person would ask for client id. Since you don't have it, provide your name and DoB and then ask for your status & client id.

Yes, I have Skype with unlimited calling to USA and CANADA. Its a cheap option. $2.5 a month.

Hi Saki,

It seems that 9th April delivered by courier service application is expected to enter in CIC systern at 12th April or later as 10th and 11th April was weekend. Personally I might have no problem because I have sent application with IELTS score.

All AOR Receivers,
can you please share your experience on this issue since you have already received your client number? We all may need to shift "Received by CIO" date to one or more days
