Hello All,
Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah) i got my medical requests today. They are asking for FBI background check for the second time now. Can you please guide me if there is a faster way of getting the FBI results.
My timeline.....
Initial Application - April 22 2010
1st AOR - July 20 2010
File Transfer to Buffalo- July 28 2010
2nd AOR - March 2011
Your application has been reviewed....... line -Feb 9th 2012
Meds- March 7th 2012
Nope...usual time of 6-8 weeks for FBI report. When do you have to send the FBI report? In case you do not get it in time you can inform your VO that the process has been initiated and will take some more time....but dont miss the deadline......  ALL the BEST. Mitali |

My ecas shows "IN PROCESS" without start date.It changed to IP wef Feb17,2012.What intrigues me is the fact that the details in the BOX is still what it began with.Recently,I got my address for Correspondence changed and it has started showing up in the ecas,as well.SPECIFIC CASE ENQUIRY was sent on MARCH 08,2012 so as to make abreast of the exact position.I wonder, if it will be of any help either,as VO'S reply will predictably be the kind of one generated by system nd nothing more than that.I am worried about the situation I have been pushed into.
I earnestly request Forum members to advise step I should take under the circumstances.

Just check your ecas every now and then. Mine shows IP after 2 years with same remarks inside then after 1 week it shows the start of processing date. |

I am a prejune applicant (NDVO) waiting for PR (FSW) since April 2010. But still my ECAS is showing RBVO (2nd AOR- Jan, 2011).
I don't know when CIC really starts to process my file.
What I wanted to know is my spouse is also fit under the FSW NOCs. Can we separately apply for PR (making my spouse as principle applicant) without withdrawing my current file?
I am really looking for your valuable suggestion.

Sir, I have been doing it relentlessly. Whenever some good news shows up in the forum,I make sure to check my ecas.As narrated in my last post, the result of my effort is so obdurate that it does not stop jeering at me.I wonder,how long will it go on !! Besides cse,I have ordered CAIPS NOTES, as well.Tracking result shows its recpt by CIC,OTTTWA.
NOW, let us see, what comes out of it.

Look, what Kenney has to say now. all I heard from him over the last few years are: doing, considering, thinking, planning, meeting, launching etc etc. http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/story/2012/03/07/pol-immigration-backlog-kenney.htmlthe scariest matter is they just cant issue visas to all the awaiting applicants as injecting all of them into Canada would make a dire social/job problems for the native Canadians. Currently, They just dont have enough schools, houses, jobs for these awaiting applicants. |

Like most of the April applicants, I am relieved to finally see "In Process" status when I checked today with the following text-
"We received your application for permanent residence on April 30, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 9, 2012. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 9, 2012."
Can applicants who have already received similar "letter" from NDVO share what the content was. (I am assuming it would be instructions for updated documents and information, and hence it would save a lot of time for me and other people in similar situation to start preparing and getting these docs ready if we knew what they are).

Dear congratulation for update.
