It is very natural, we can expect lot of errors in our e-case as the NDVO is processing all the application in rush. (I am not sure, till what stage this rush will continue)
There are people who got In Process with date 3months ago but no one got any update or medicals request yet.
I guess NDVO has planned some schedule for entire MI-1 applications and they are strictly working on that(we can see that on mass In Process with dates status updates), only NDVO or Canadian Registered Consultants can provide more clarity on Medical Request or updates.
I am sure there are few people applied for CAIPS after their e-case updated to “In Process” with date, I request if you all can share details of the same.

hi
i m an april 2010 applicant. till now everything was ok. but today when i checked my ecas it was displaying "DECISION MADE". i received no medical request. my ecas status is as following-
"we received ur application on 28 april, 2010. you application & docs r received by ndvo & are pending review. NDVO may contact u. A DECISION HAS BEEN MADE ON UR APPLICATION. THE OFFICE WILL CONTACT U CONCERNING THIS DECISION."
so pls guide me is it a rejection or system glitch?

I am sure it would be a system operator mistake. Plz send a query and it will be clear b/c its not possible unless they found any glaring thing in the background checks. Plz tell me did you update all police certificates or you updated only the latest one because it does not make sense to update the police certificate for an area where i have not lived after filing the application at CHC london. Your advice can help me as i am asked to send updates.
- Updated Schedule A for all family members 18 and older - Updated police certificates from each country or territory where you or any of your family memebers have lived for six months - Updated proof of funds to show sufficient funds for settlement in Canada these are the requested documents, and i sent it , and everything was ok . I really don't understand, how come they started processing and they reviewed my file, and they requested my updated documents, so it should be ok !!!!!!! so i don't understand what is going on |

This is a catch line for you. "Did you send updated police certificates for all those areas you and your family lived (minimum stay of 6 months) since the age of 18 years or just update of recent stay."Probably this could be a reason. Regards, |

Hello All,
Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah) i got my medical requests today. They are asking for FBI background check for the second time now. Can you please guide me if there is a faster way of getting the FBI results.

Forum members cant exactly say what happened to the cases with DM status.
Best is to apply for CAIPS now.
CIC is clearly on not issuing MR's or visas to people who has less PoF than they think is sufficient.

its an old practice and its a rule that Medical is expired after 1 year, so they'd normally ask to send that once again. they also ask for a renewed PoF just to make sure if the money is safe and still possessed by the applicant.

Sir,u are absolutely correct.Before issuing MR ,cic would ensure that the applicant has adequate non-encumbered liquide funds ,covering POF,WHICH CAN BE REPATRABLE.
More importanlty,the ACTION of CIC in respect of prejune applicants has become increasingly unpredicatable.It seems,Ecas does not reflect true picture of our status. the information we get from it, is not a replica of what is happening behind the scene.
We can only wish nd pray that all goes off well.
