We are so many in this month lets hope for the best....all the best dear

Processing is being done on the basis of 2nd AOR. Presently NDVO is procesing applications with full docs received in August 2010.

So the month of Application to CIO-NS doesn't matters.

Before my status turned to real In-process, I send a CSQ to NDVO in the first week of Jan-12. Today, I got following reply from the visa office:

"Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

Your application is currently awaiting review by a visa officer. Please be assured that as soon as the review is complete, the next steps in the processing of this application will be determined and you will be advised accordingly."

What does this mean? Does this mean that they have started processing my application?

Dear Behabitu

Thanks for reply

Can you guide me that the Pre-June 2010 applicants who got
1: medical request after Jan 2012, OR
2: addition of “Actual Process Start date ...” in their status
was doing continuously emails to visa office? I did email to them in November 2011 and they replied in generic way “During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision". Wait wait....

Means I want to know, whether I have to email inquiry to visa office, can it be beneficial? or just wait.

Waiting for your valuable advice.

Regards

Self explanatory

The documentary evidence that you attached will now be studied and all is well you will be asked to go ahead with medicals and eventually Visa

I just got to know that CHC,Delhi has special unit assigned to clear old backlogged applications of Ministrial Instructiona 1st set, .i.e pre June2010. They are also conducting telephonic interviewes and verifiing the job role with company /employer/HR , based on the detailed job letter submitted specifing the job duties. So get ready with your docs are prepare for the call , they may call you any time.

This is update i have from my agent.

Good Luck to all!!!

OmSai73,

I think you are right based on the real "InProcess Updates" pace. But from where did you get this news.

Most of the PreJune 2010 applicants have already got the real "In Process" in their e-case but further there is no update on the medicals, if possible can you check on this.

I think there is no one left who did not get some or the other update on their e-case.

Again waiting started for all of us?

Engaging Employers on Immigration
This winter, CIC Deputy Minister Neil Yeates and Associate Deputy Minister Peter Sylvester will be holding roundtable meetings with Canadian employers to seek input that will help inform CIC's economic immigration programs and policies. CIC's outreach to employers is aimed at getting a better understanding of their challenges, particularly related to workforce planning, hiring and recruitment, and how they use the immigration system.

The discussions will focus on the following topics:

•Making the selection of high-skilled, labour-market ready workers more demand-driven;
•Modernizing how we manage immigration applications, to better control intake, prevent backlogs and improve processing times;
•Positioning the Temporary Foreign Worker Program to respond to Canada's economic needs – complementing, not displacing local labour supply.
Supporting economic growth and competitiveness is a Government of Canada priority. As such, even in a time of global economic uncertainty, immigration is necessary for Canada's long-term economic health and success.

CIC recognizes that our immigration system could be more attuned to meeting immediate and regional skills shortages while continuing to respond to longer term, national labour force needs. We look forward to input from employers and stakeholders.

The first roundtable meeting will be held on February 9, 2012, in Halifax, followed by others to be announced in due course.

Hi seniors
I have been noticing that few people are talking about chc newdelhi vo rejecting cases of pre juners on minor points.....as I m a prejuner and my case is also coming as in process with actual date and I want to ask....i have claimed 5 points for blood relation of my uncle(my father's elder brother).he is a canadian  citizen...the documents I sent were .......
1 a page showing family tree
2 passport copy of my uncle
3 passport copy of my father
4 copies of matriculation certificates of my father and my uncle (as it shows father name and date of birth)
5  bank statement, credit card statement, health card of my uncle
6  as in some documents of my father in his name ‘b' is used and in others ‘v' is used so I                 have sent an affidavit by my father that both name belong to him....

Are these documents  fine to claim points.........
