I have couriered my App under FSW, NOC 3143 on 10th April. It will reach CIO by 16th April. How long does it take CIO to notify applicant as far as their decision is concerned?

CIO usually takes 45 to 60 days to notify you with their decision.

It definately makes sense to send the results if you have appeared.

I have attached a copy of my IELTS result score card to the application.
I don't know whether it was required/expected by CIC. Since I had already appeared for the test, it made sense to attach a copy and claim the highest scores. There is still confusion about whether we need to send a copy of the results to CIC or only to the local visa office at the time of full documentation. I didn't want to take any chances and had already given the test. So attached a copy to my application.

Hey Mostafa,

Most people in the recent past have been receiving the AOR from Nova Scotia through email.
Be sure to check your SPAM/Junk folders closer to the date when you are expecting to receive AOR - anywhere from 45 - 60 days from the receipt of the application.

Hello everyone

Please inclue me on the list, I sent my FSW initial application on April 10 via DHL, my NOC is 3152. I also included a copy of my IELTS result just to make sure, but I'm a bit worried because it will be one year this May.

One thing more, in the bank draft I put "RECEIVER GENERAL CANADA" instead of 'RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA". I missed "for" do you think this is a big deal?

thank you rubyat for the updated list. can anybody suggest when to start the PCC as i have to collect it from 3 different countries so it might take long time and i know for some country they may take 2 to 3 months to give us. and how long is it valid for.

regarding bank statement how many months statement is required. I know its just the application submitn bt still i want to collect some information.

I have sent initial application under FSW to CIC, Sydney on 1st April 2010, got delivered on 7th April 2010. Waiting for response. Any idea how long would it normally take for them to take payment? I understand from the genral pattern that it normally takes 45-60 days for AOR, rite?

I have sent my application to CIO 2 days ago under NOC 1111 via fedex , it is expected to be deliverd on 15 April, I also included a copy of my IELTS results.

I am from Egypt and I live in Saudi Arabia.

it is really good idea to commuincate with applicants with similar timelines.

The Police certificate must have been issued no more than three months before you submit your application.
If the original certificate is neither in English nor in French, submit both the certificate and the original copy of a translation prepared by an accredited translator with your application.
Since you need to collect PCC from 3 different countries, you can get started on it now. I have to get PCC of only one country (India) and it took me 1 month to receive it.- STS

I am not sure. But my guess is that bank statements of 6 months and more indicates your financial stability and proves that you have the required funds to sustain yourself after the PR.  - STS
