for persons who recd. medical....ppr etc..

Any of you got job verification from the Visa Office (by phone or by visit)? If any, kindly share your experience regarding this (for example, VO's timeline for this kind of verification (how long after the 2nd AOR), what did they check your employer, how things turned after the verification, etc)

We see some movement in ND office... April amd May applicants are getting MR now.

I think it will depend more on when you have submitted your full docs.. I think people who submitted there docs late sept and oct 2010 and consequently got AORs until mid Nov are getting the MRs..

This is also an indication that although post 26th June applications are getting processed faster.. it has not slowed down the pre june application processing that much..

Yes, I agree with you.

Only the ECAS has created confusion and mess as it is being migrated.

Also there were limited number of post 26th June applications so even though those got preference the VOs should be through with most of them now and I think things should pick up speed for pre june applicants now.. hope to see more MRs coming to April and May applicants now Smiley

i think the diffrence between file number E and B is according to category.

i am under NOC 4131 ---starts with E (  hope other NOC 4131 also start with E)

B file number may have different NOC

almost all of my friends or known people who are in NOC 4131 starts with B File Number. My profession is different and my file number also starts with B. I think, it is also not differentiate with Visa Office also. Just imagine, there are only 26 English alphabets but professions are more that 26  Grin

You are right.. File numbers are not differentiated based on NOC.

Does it mean that the files which are migrated to GCMS will executed first or will get preference?

I dont think so.. If there is any connection at all then it would be reverse one..i.e. those files are to be processed first will be transferred to GCMS first..

Dear Friends,

I have applied to CIO in April 2010, received first AOR in June 2010, Submitted full docs in October 2010 and got 2nd AOR in October 2010.

Initially my ecase status was "Received by VO", Then "In Process" Now in "Application Received". Anyone has idea why this has been changed from "In Process" to "Application Received"?

Thanks,
Aran

Hi All,

I found the below information from one of the thread....hope this may be helpful.

I sent an email to CHC London to find about Ecas. I got the following reply.

Thank you for your enquiry.

We regret that Ecas is experiencing technical difficulties and some files may incorrectly show that a decision is made on a file or in process when in fact the application is still in process. The IT department at CIC in Ottawa is aware of the problem.

Your application is still in process.

We apologise for any confusion this may have caused.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Yours sincerely,

Canada's government toppled, elections in May...
Ottawa: Canada's opposition defeated Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper's minority government in a no-confidence vote Friday over its alleged "abuse of power," forcing elections.
The adoption of the motion presented by the main opposition Liberals and supported by the separatist Bloc Quebecois and leftist New Democrats comes on the heels of a historic contempt of parliament charge against the Tories.
The three opposition parties mustered a combined 156 votes in favour of the motion versus 145 for the government's survival.
Harper is now expected to ask the governor-general on Saturday to officially dissolve Parliament, sending Canadians to the polls in early May.

Will it cause further delay, dilema in our immigration plans, issuing visas, new policies etc??   Huh Huh Huh Huh
