The best thing would be to not look at the ecas status for a few days... just wait n watch (as if we could do anything else)... the process will normalize soon..

Visa offices seem to be working their wayup the ladder. lets give them some time they will come around.....

Hi,
I am new to this thread and an applicant in the month of April 2010
My case status also shows "Application Received" and my File no starts with E.
Need some guidance,
Currently I am in US and I have filled my application from India. My query is, do I and my wife need to goto New Delhi India for Passport Stamping or we can courier it from here?
Or is it possible that we can take 15-20 days off from work and goto New Delhi personally and get our passports stamped.
Has anyone faced such situation. Please guide.

H, I am not from this thread, I just want to ask for an opinion. Last january 2011 I was asked by CIO to take the GT exam and to comply within 120 days. Now, after complying and submitted my IELTS to them, when will I hear from them again? or how many days or weeks will I be waiting? Thanks.

HI CDB It will take a few months till the time you get a passport request, if you are not coming back till then, I would suggest to contact another forum member vmanic as he was in the same situation as you. I dont know what is going on here!!

its very frustrating....again one more tuesday gone same RBVO............its nearly 7 months since i have send my docs to chc newdelhi...
still no movement....on 2nd AOR its written that 8 months is time.....i hope some movement very soon

Hi, The file no starting with B was given by Case Processing Center in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. Now when they transfer our application to ND VO, the ND will give us a new file no starting with E. This is what has happened in my case. I received an acknowledgement saying the same thing above. My file no also starts with E. Same with my case....Application Received..... dont know why.. hope we here some good news soon.

My AOR letter from Delhi states that if you do not hear anything from us in 3 months contact this visa office directly... If its 8 months in your case with no updates I would suggest that you make a case specific inquiry at CHC Delhi. Sapana |

Nothing Wrong in your case.. It simply means that your documents were reviewed for completeness and eligibility and now your case is In Process. Now there will be background checks, criminality checks etc. and after that you will receive a medical request.
