Mitali-I would like to update my status here.My documents were returned because of very silly reason from consulate. Because I mentioned the current month when I had sent the application as date for employment.I had to change that to till date and send them back. Full docs were sent agaon on dec 09 2010. Please update my status.

hi to all
i am new on this thread. I sent my full documents to visa office in April 2010. Today my ecas status changed to In process. but the details are same as RBVO. and they have removed my address from the page while it was showing till yesterday 2345.
can any one tell me is it normal or something wrong with my application?

there seems to some wrong message in E-cas.

Dear "In Process" means that a your VO started processing on your file which you sent after getting the 1st AOR. That means they started reviewing your full documents. Background check and all.
Thank you Classical beat. I understand that review of documents takes place at this stage. However i need to know whether you qualify for this stage after meeting the 67points or points are calculated as part of this stage. Thx, KC |

Hello Cam, Thanks for reply. I got the PER for my post626 application from CIO this morning. Now, time to make a final decision. The visa officer contacted with me by phone, the lady is nice. she said that she asked her superior and got the answer. First priority is post626.  We never know their logic. Hi roseapple08: Congratulations on your PER... Although you say the lady who called you was nice and knowledgeable, I would still call the visa office again for confirmation that post June 26 applications will have priority in processing, before you cancel your other application. I would appreciate if you could let me know what they tell you as this info is important for many Post June applicants, please Inbox me if you wish... and best of luck! Cam |

Then I asked for holding my case for a while, once I get the PER for the second application, I will make a final decision. Now, the PER comes. This is the whole story. Well, you seem to be in a win/win situation  Two applications which have passed final eligibility... I don't know, if I were you, I would still call or write to the VO one more time and ask which would be the faster route. Remember, while you have received your PER, your application is NOT at the VO yet. We have people who got their PERs over two months ago, and their VOs have still not received their application... On the other hand, your pre June 26 application IS at the VO right now. Tough situation, you have nothing to lose by asking more questions from your VO in my opinion. Cam |

Yes, I noticed that the CIO moves slowly to forward the full documents to the VO. That is a disadvantage. BTW, I need to apply the PCC of FBI again for the second application, it takes another 2~3 months. Furthermore, I want my money back.  |
