pls include us in the list as well. We sent our application april 5, with NOC code 0111. CIC received it April 23.  Still no further news from them.  Good luck to us all.

When can we expect any news from CIC?

we notice that despite some of the applications having the same receipt date from CIC, why don't all of them have the CC/DD already?

By the way, what does CC/DD mean and whats it for?

Dear Forum Members,

So many people have rushed their applications due to april/may rule change information. Even those who were thinking of sending applicatins by may or june, have sent the same in april on priority basis. I am one of them. Now CIO has loads of applications with them. That is why no AOR is received even its 55 days today. This will further increase the time of Initial reveiw.

Secondly the time line depends upon the Visa officer who receives application. Application receiving date or NOC code is no criteria for processing. They work for five days a week and thats too for 7 - 8 hours a day. Generally people working in govt. offices everywhere have tendency to work slowly, and they take offs very often. If we assume there are only 10 visa officers and one VO can reveiw 2 to 3 applications a day then per day processing is limited to 20 to 30 cases, which is very less. This might be creating lots of backlog there.

I hope AORs will start coming in 1st week of June for april applicants.

Thank you Parygre for your observation. It is really a very interesting one.
I am not one of them that rushed to submit their application, I just tried to collect all the requested info. before submiting first application, and this delayed it. Surely, if I would have come accross this forum some months ago, I would have submitted mine at least at the begining of this year.

bCould any one tell me How much time canads alabour service take to get job offer approved

I hope AORs will start coming in 1st week of June for april applicants.

 I also think that because Australia suspended there immigration processing many oz hopeful may have applied to Canada instead. This could also be one reason for increase in the number of applicants and hence slow processing.
 But I still hope that the CIO people keep up with the speed and process the applications so that we get the initial AORs in the 60-65 days time-frame.
