Just forgot to add to my last post. Has your credit card or Demand draft been encashed already?
Well, if for some reason CIC (CIO) determines that you have not qualified for immigration,then they will send you an email (provided you have included your email in your application for future correspondence) with the reasons of disqualification. Sometimes the emails from CIO are recognised as SPAM, so please also check your SPAM box for their email.

Hi Mitali, Thank you so much for your information. I checked when the bank dfaft was cashed out by the CIO and it was on August 27th, 2010. I phoned to CIC and verify my application just a couple minutes ago and the officer said, my application was delivered on April 6th, and it was RECIEVED on June 8th, 2010!! I was told the current processing time which in 33 weeks from June 8th, 2010. According to this processing speed, the CIO will make a deicision by January 18th, 2011. Hmm it takes so long to get AOR but I jsut have to wait patiently. Thank you. Chimmm |

Hi Bazigar, According to the rules, your application (full documents) should reach your VO by 23rd Oct (provided your 1st AOR email is dated 24th Oct). Check your tracking number for the package. If it has reached on 23rd then you are fine, if not, then it will be rejected. Applications are accepted on Saturday,but will be added into the system only on the next working day which is Monday,25th Oct. CIC is adhering to the 120day rule very strictly.....no excuses whats so ever. Mitali |

Dear All Seniors ,
I Need to know how much points i will get from Education.
10+2 = Full time after that
2 year Diploma in Pharmacy = Fulltime
3 year Bachelor in Computer Application = distance mode from IGNOU , New Delhi
2 year Master in Business Administration = Distance mode from ICFAI University .Dehradun.
My both the Distance university is UGC Approved
Please .. Let me know.

Hi Bazigar, In continuation to my above post. I was just going through some of your post on other threads. If there was indeed any strike in your area which prevented you from sending your application package on time, then you may do the following: 1) Send another package to VO, this time with a cover letter to inform them about the strike and include some Newspaper cuttings too, if you have them. 2) On the envelope, write in BOLD letters, the following information- xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx URGENT "Additional documents" Your name and DOB Initial docs sent on 22 Oct 2010 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I believe, under the circumstances on which you had no control ,VO will be lenient. Hope for the best. Mitali NB: The decision is at VO's discretion....we can only hope that he will be lenient |

Hey seniors, saki, mitali......need an advice:
1- My experience letters are now around 06 months old as I got them before sending application to CIO. Do I need to get them again with current date? Or its okay? Any idea?
2- My PCC are 3.5 old now. Should I get them again as well?
3- All copies of my documents are notarized. But the person who notarized the documents did not write the sentences as mentioned in EG7 guide that "Its a true copy of the document". Should I write myself?
4- The notarizing person also did not put any date with his signature as he mentioned that they dont write the date on documents
(although he mentioned the date on his record register). Should I put the date by myself under his signature? Which date should I mention? Current date or the actual date when he stamped all the papares (that I even dont remember exactly and i am out of my home country now).
Please guide.
