Dear All,
Please inform if the status is visible on ecas after receiving the first AOR. I have received the AOR almost 9 days back and still I cannot see any status on the ECAS.

Hi, Yes you can use the file number to check your status and currently it should be "CIO Eligiblity Review Completed" make sure you fill the details correctly and choose "Immigration File Number" in the first box it will show your details. Cheers Saki |

Dear Friends,
I have dispatched 2nd stage document to VO. How do I know, visa office has received my docs.
Currenly my ecas says "Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S) Eligibility Review Complete"

Hi, At this stage only the courier service you used can confirm that they have delivered the documents on the given address but later your ecase status will change to " Received By VO" and then shortly you will receive the 2nd AOR which will be the acknowledgement that they have received your documents. Dont worry if they have confirmed the delivery then they must have delivered it. It depends on the visa office how busy it is if its not much then you will get your 2nd AOR in 10-15 days but like London visa office it takes 1.5-2 months to get AOR. Dont worry wait for 2-3 weeks you will see your status change. Cheers Saki |

Dear saki------i have same problem as Aran.i got my 1stA0R28 sept2010 and i m using my file number to see my ecas status but nothing displayed and 2nd thing i sent my documents to new delhi visa office on 6 october and ask enquiry on 7 october about mt reciept of an application but they denied of any record of my reciept of an application but the courier service BLUEDART confirmed that they delivered my package. now my question is did CIO yet didnt put e cas system on ?unless e cas system will start showing anything visa office will accept my application further or no?just explain in detail. thanking you |

Hi, You should be able to see your status with the file number given on your first AOR. I dont know what is the problem try contacting cic technical problem section email them maybe they tell you in detail. About your full documents to visa office it takes time to create a file in the visa office like 2-3 days or some time weeks as it depends how busy is the visa office as you called them the very next day its obvious they woyldnt have created your file by then. So try to get your ecase status fix so that you can see when status change to "Recevd by VO" and wait for your 2nd AOR. If you cant get your 2nd AOR in atleast a month time and are unable to see ecase status then try calling them again. Hope this helps Cheers Saki |

I think London office is really swamped with applications as the immigration applications they process cover a lot of countries/areas. I am sure we will get communication/response from them in due time.

Hi Arshad, Haral guided you correctly, PCC is required for all those who are 18+ and included in the application. PCC is required for all those countried where you have lived for 6 months or more since turning the age of 18. Cheers Saki |
