Helloeverybody!

I am preparing my docs to be sent to ND VO. Please let me know how can I add job hours in my experience certificate. Are these lines ok?

" Its is also certified that her duty timings were 9 AM to 4.30 PM in winters and 7 AM to 2.30 PM in the summers with half an hour lunch break in between. Further, our institute is open 6 days a week."

My second issue us that my husband does not have his birth certificate from Municipal Corporation. Can we use his Matric certificate as birth date proof?

Thanks for your assistance.

Hi Arshad,

Some of your questions have already been answered.

1. To call CIO from outside Canada follow the instructions below:

You need to call at 16139444000  and then select options in this sequence    1...2...1...2....1

You would be placed in queue and after 5-10 minutes, your call would be attended by someone. The person would ask for client id. If you dont have it, provide your name and DoB and then ask for your status & client id.

2. PCC is required with full submission of your documents to your respective visa office.

3. You can claim points only for the people included in the application. Your friend can not claim points if he persues the application without his wife as co applicant ; but if he decides to include them (wife /children) when he is submitting his full application to VO then he could get points for his spouse. Of course he has to pay the processing fees for them.

Satnam is one such example who is trying to include her spouse/children with her full submission of documents to VO. Anata also corroborates such instances which is quite a common practice in Phillipines.

Mitali

Yes we can add any family number ( for points) while sending docs to VO provided we have given the details of that specific family member in initial application to CIO. One of our family friend did the same thing and got PR. He went to Toronto this May. So thank GOD, me and others like me are sailing SAFE!

Hi Satnam,

You can calculate the hrs that you have worked. No details is required. Keep in mind that working for a minimum of 37.5 hr/week is considered full time.
Yes, you could use his Matric certificate but it will be preferable to get an affidavit done from Court.

Thanks Mitali. But do we need to write numbers of hours worked in a week. I mean some thing like this -
" Her total working hours per week was 42 ". Actually some members suggests to get numbers of hours worked in a week, mentioned.

"Canadian High Commission"

There will be a separate place to write where the draft is payable at.

Hi Sunny,

Did you mean a PCC from Canada for your daughter? Check the following link to get PCC for her.
http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cr-cj/fing-empr2-eng.htm

I remember some posts from Lakhvinder and she reported to have received her PCC from ND in about 2 hrs. You may want to contact her for the detailed procedure.

I am so happy for you Sunny... wish you all the best.

Dear friends, pls advise:

I am confused with one question, a friend of mine (who is in Canada for 10 months already and applied before Feb 2008 - the whole process took them 2 years) told they had an interview before 'Med. Request' and then they had the passport sent to CHC...
so, when is the interview taking place in our waiting period for applicants after Feb 2008.

Thk u ahead

Hi Chami,

Interview is not compulsory..it is waived off for most of the applicants. Its required only when the VO needs some more justification or supporting documents from the applicant.

Hi Prince,

I think your documents provide sufficient support for your application. People add payslips and contract to make their application strong with evidence.  It is always preferable to get the contract of your job if you can.

Some VO have specific requirement for Notarised employment Contract. Check the Checklist of your VO.

Please can you share your timeline and VO?
Mitali

thank u mitali. my vo is newdelhi. applied in april 2010, 1st aor july , doc sent 15 september.
