Hi,
The information you have provided is from Cohen's website and thus can not be wrong. But this is a very important info as it is a blow in the face for all the pre 26th June applicants. What is interesting and confusing is the the current processing times as posted on the CIC website which does not match with Cohen's.
How about making a new thread with this info and see what people have to say about it. I am sure you will get more opinions on the open forum rather than on just this thread. I will be interested to get more info.

Hi Forum: I found this (? misleading) information in this web-site which gives ridiculously long processing times. I don't find this information elsewhere... Can somebody explain please? If this was the timeline fo the old system, why does it indicate that date on the top... really confused!! http://www.canadavisa.com/federal-skilled-worker-processing-times.htmlThat info on the number of months to finalised the processing is ridiculous and annoying. I do not want to believe in that. There must be a mistake some where. Infact, i am mailing my consultant COHEN, to explain to me what they mean by that. When we were about applying it was said that is would be completed in 6- 12 months. Withthe way things are goin. I might have to go and apply under the new one. They held one to our money , many of us have gathered all of our documents which cost us lot of money (many would be expiring soon) and would cost money to collect again. Why the hell is CIC behaving like this? |

Nice. Good luck... my doc collection campaign is still hot...just collected my wife`s university sealed transcripts.... i will Inshallah will be done with documents in a week or two and than the last hurdle would be POF arrangment... so i guess i will be able to send this hefty pack on its way by end of Oct or early Nov.. I just called CIO....the answer i got is the same as expected " WE R PROCESSING APPLICATIONS TILL 3RD MAY" and refused to provide any other detail and did not check any status of my file for client ID.... I hung up and called again....this time the lady told again that 3rd may story but checked my application status with date of birth and first/last name and told that they have no record for my file (I am May 19 applicant and CC was charged on 17 Aug  ). She asked to call after 4 weeks to check if there is any other update... Both the ladies told that there is no time line...they cannot provide any information how long it gonna take.... So just disappointment.... cant do anything except praying and waiting.....  |
