I believe you should definitely send them the emails and call directly to NS with query where is your AOR and ask for file Id.
Where to send the email? There is no email address provided for CIO....only email address provided is for every specific Visa Office. If ur case is still in CIO (means u have not received the 1st AOR) then VO also doesn't know any thing about ur case... Correct me if i m wrong? ? ? |

Hi all,
Hope u all remember me Iam the most frustrated april 26th applicant.who has not yet received anything from CIO . anyways leave that apart...
Mitali and all I guess till now no one has tried mailing CIO except calling them.from the above I understand that lubob has mailed and got a reply, and also resived AOR is n't that gr8 I mean It worked for him...Can we also try mailing CIO about the much awaited AOR or status of our applications?
Hi rnaaz, I have not forgotten you......and you are not the only one there are many people like you in the same situation... if that makes you feel a little better. Dont loose hope....you will be ok. Oh yes, why not. Sending case specific enquiry to VO at CIO stage is actually news for me as well.....as it worked for lulob and it could would for all the other candidates. Thanks to lulob for posting this information. PM lulob regarding what information he had to send with his email request (like DOB etc???). Mitali |

Hi,
As you must have noticed from the numerous complaints on the forum that Buffalo is infamous for being one of the slowest VO. Do you have confirmation that your package has reached Buffalo ( with tracking #?).
You could call ( I dont have the number though) but I heard that they seldom answer it. But you could try to send them a case specific email regarding the status of your application. You could also try checking the thread for Buffalo applicants....maybe you could get more appropriate answers there.

dear navali ! i had sent an case specific email to visa office new delhi. usually CIO NOVA SCOTIA is taking 2 month period for review of application . i got my dd encashed on 25.04.2010 hardly 25 days of my application received by Nova Scotia. on ECAS website shows a letter has been sent to you on 2.06.2010. but i didn't received any letter.after waiting for 4 months i filed case specific inquiry then i got the file no.

Case specific enquiry is highly related to local VISA OFFICE, not to CIC Sydney, NS. I am curious what information local office will response with, if sydney doesn't approve application yet, and doesn't sent application to local office? For some guys of beginning of the May it is already gone - 4 month. I think CIC should respond in 1-2 week to all May applicants. |

As you know that many peoples from apri did not get the 1st AOR, my brother OVAIS_PK is one of them... Please help me to know where should I contact CIO or UK VO, and is it better to send an email to them or call them directly?

Please also provide the email address or phone # where should I need to send request to check the application status.

Dear Sunny i had sent an email to visa office new delhi with my application details after waiting reply from CIO NS for nearly 4 months. then i was not having any file no. or AOR from CIO NS. but the VO new delhi replied regarding the status of my file. the subject of replied email of VO contained my file no. when i checked with this file no. on ECAS, then i got the status that CIO had sent a letter on 2.06.2010. which i had not received till date. As my bank gave me encashed status of my dd on 25.04.2010. having file no. i m going to submit full doc. to VO ND next week. i hope this will clear ur confusion. best of luck n take care. cheers |
