so it will be 4 months and few days when my documents will reach to Visa office.will there be any problem ? either they can refuse my application because of this ?

Hi April Applicants:
I am trying to make some changes to the Updated list so that we can monitor the progress of the 2nd phase (after 1st AOR) according to visa office processing times. I have added the names in the respective VO (that I was aware of). In case there is any mistake please post it in a reply. Please do not "Quote" the list as it will take a lot of space.
As and when I will get the information regarding the VO of the applicants I will include it.
I would request Saki and gggone to help me through this. Everyone is welcome to update the list... but my earnest request ..please pull out the most "Updated list" as we are now dealing with a lot of information and don't want to mess it up and ecclude any information by mistake.
INACTIVE members, if you are still active please update yourself.
Please let me know if you find any mistakes.

I was in job till Nov 2006 and I have my salary certificates (4, which were issued on every march/april), job leaving certificate,experience certificate and releasing letter from my employer dated back in nov/dec 2006.
Do I need to get a current dated letter as well to be submitted with my docs to CHC ND?
Should I send copies of attendance register for all these 4 years? and some photographs taken at institute? and my bank statements which shows my salary transfer in my salary account?
I did not filed IT returns as my salary was below tax limit. So does it matter? Do I need to send IT returns of my spouse or it is not required?

Hi Satnam, If I remember correctly, this is the only job that you are claiming points for. Is it possible for you to get any kind of Reference from the current employer ...just a statement to mention the time period of your job and the salary? I presume some reference is required for the Vo to assess your application. You dont have to send all the pages of your attendance register. But do send the statements from the bank to verify your salary deposit. You could mention in your cover letter that your salary was tax exempted (provide the reason) and thus you do not have any Tax documents. Tax docs of spouse is not required. Mitali |

Hi,
They say experience letter should not be more than 3 months old at the time of submitting full docs, but for you i think it will be fine as it will just be a few days over three months.

Hi Saki, Is it mentioned somewhere as I am not able to find any source for this except the word "up to date letters" but time line has not been mentioned.... But if it is true like PCC, it shouldn't be when u submit ur application to CIO?? As I got my experience letters before filing the application to CIO (3.5 months old now) because I wanted to make sure my employers dont refuse in issuing letters after I get CIO approval.... |

Thanks Mitali. I am house wife now. That was the only job I did. I can get current dated, reference letter from my past employer - from the director of institute. The then principal is in Canada. have an inquiry.... how many points can I have from my work experience if this is the case:
April 30, 2007 to MArch 30, 2010 = 2 yrs and 11months
July. 2, 2010 to present(August 20, 2010) = 2 months
19points or 17 points? I have a gap of 3 months of being unemployed..... please help.
