dear saki and metali plz help first i want to know what is the cover letter?why should i make a cover letter? 2-if my husband is the main applicant should the proof of fund be in his name or i (his spouse)can get it from my account in the bank with my name? thanks a lot  |

Dear Saki,
Thank you. I have more question. If I made some change in the additional family information form, should I send the old from along with changed form and mentioned the changes in the cover letter or just made the change and send it to VO and mentioned in the cover letter. Is it necessary to mark the change in the cover letter. then what should I mentioned like "I made the mistake" or any suitable sentence.
Should I send all the promotion, increment letter and pay slip of the current job along with my appointment letter and reference letter from the current letter. Is it create good sense to the case office or he/she being angry to see more document than what VO requested.
I want to show my Provident fund as proof of fund. So I have to send the pay slip as one of its part contain the PF statement.
Please suggest me what should I do.

Dear Friends, Really confused about PCC. Some ppl say u need to get from all cities, some ppl say its only country based, some ppl say just need from the city mentioned on ur passport.... As per the website: If you live in Pakistan In larger cities You should provide a Police Character Certificate or Police Clearance Certificate. Application forms are available at the “Town” or “City Police Officer” of your area. The “Town” or “City Police Officer” will issue the required certificate directly to you. A fee may apply. In smaller cities, towns or rural areas You may request an application form from the local district office of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of the Police Security Branch. The superintendent of Police (SSP will issue the required certificate directly to you.  ? |

I have sent the RPRF fees with the full documents as the current document checklists for the New Delhi office expects the applicants to. However, from the forum I have learned that people do send it at any stage in the process. Mostly, it is requested along or after the Medicals. I have also learned through the forum that its better to give the fees as early as possible to save 3-4 weeks of processing.

hello Mitali & others
there's something strange when i'm logging in to CIC i only c papers "Applications received" nothing more , as for cash i'm sure talked to american express they said that it was taken at 28th of july. But as I saw in some post on page 82 there's magical number ..... called them and lady right there gave me Client Id and other number i asked what's for second one she told u'll need to in ur country......... so maybe she knew sth i don't know?? anywho could someone confirm me that AOR is date of meeting in my local embassy?if so shouldn't i receive any @ notification or at least normal post message?shouldn't that kind of information be visible at CIC page on my account?
can any1 reply to my question? |

Hi mapple, Please pardon me... but I can not understand your question. Please can you rephrase your question for us so that we can suggest the best option? But from what I understand: 1) Ok, the number on pg 82 is not a magical number... it is the number to contact CIO. 2) The customer service person at CIO provided you with Client ID and another number. Fine... now does that 2nd # start with "B" ? (please dont post this number starting with 'B' or your client ID # on the forum or anywhere ...these are extremely sensitive and confidential numbers regarding your Immigration) 3) And you can not see your file's information on CIC website? It may happen that the website has not updated your file's information yet. They generally update on Tuesdays. 4) Check your spam mail box for any email from CIC... sometimes the mail goes there instead of Inbox. Hopefully I have understood what you meant... Mitali |

I am assuming you got the client ID after talking to CIC call center agent and checked your e-case with that. This status is typical. I also received this status after my credit card got charged. Within 2.5 weeks, I received the AOR. After about one week of receiving the AOR, the status message changed to CIO Eligibility Review Complete. So, I think perhaps your application is following the same process.

Well, the B# is your client ID/file number. When you receive the AOR - Acknowledgement of Receipt, this number will be written right on the top. The AOR comes as an e-mail (if you gave an email address in your form). The email comes from FSW-Centralized Intake Office (FSW-Centralized-Intake-Office @ cic.gc.ca) so you might as well add this to your list of safe contacts to prevent the AOR from hitting the junk folder!
The AOR says that you have been found eligible for further processing and within 120 days of receiving this email AOR, you need to submit the full documents to your local visa office (as per the required checklists).

Dear All,
Nevil here -26th May applicant and waiting for1st AOR.
My confusion is my wife's passport is expiring in Oct 2011 and if i get 1st AOR in septemeber mid and if I submit full doc to VO in Nov-Dec 2010 then my wife's paasport will be considered ok?! her passpot is expiring in oct 2011 .r should i renew it now onl s we will be having 120 days time!!!Pl. note that my wife is not a principle applicant.
Experts pl. advice.

It can be on anyone's name as long as that person is included in the application so you can show your bank account as well with your husband bank account. Cheers Saki |
