Hello Folks,
What a wonderful thread this is! I just came across this thread and found it exactly where i could put up my questions! I am also an April applicant and here are my details:
NOC: 0213
Documents Reached: 14-April-2010
DD charged: 18-July-2010
1st AOR: Yet to receive.
Its more than 3 months that my documents were received by CIO but i haven't received any acknowledgement yet by them. Is this normal? What should i do to know what is going on with my application at the moment?

Hi
guys did any body called cio and confirm where they have reached? well keeping my fingers crossed and praying for everybody.. i m from India tried calling cio .. but no reply could you guys tell me what time to call them. well my friend whose documents reached on 26 april got her docs back whereas cio posted her docs. back on 8 july.. please updtae if anyboys cc /dd has been chanrged .

Dear Saki / Mitali / Mates One of my friend is applying under new categories. He wants to know: - Under new rules after 26th June, Do we need to notarize all photocopies of the orignals (as per Visa Office Checklist) while sending initial application to CIO, Sydney, NS
Do we need to send original PCC to CIO or only photocopy to CIO and then after initial approval original to visa office?
Do we need to send marriage photographs with initial application to CIO?
Do we need to send legal and notarized translations of Marriage and Birth Certificates with initial application to CIO?
Do we need to send original university selaed transcripts with initial application to CIO?
Any idea/thoughts? Thanks |

My current employer did not provide me detailed reference letter (with full job description). The letter is on official letter head and just shows my Name, designation, job period and salary. However I am not using this job to claim in 38 occupations (as per old list). Is it ok to provide such letter along with job contract or do i still need detailed job duties for this job as well?
